Quilt Pounce Pad - Ultimate Iron-off chalk, White

Works great and with the full line stencils it’s awesome!

I am a quilter, so I do a lot of marking on cotton fabric. The Pounce lasts while cutting but doesn't stick to the fabric permanently. FYI- I believe it comes in some other colors than white too.

I finally have everything needed to trying some hand quilting! This will hopefully save me a lot of time tracing out patterns to stitch.

Good product. Stayed put just long enough for me to do my hand sashiko stitching.

Overall this is a real game changer for quilters, however, it was my experience that the design needs to be put on in sections. In other words, transfer one stencils worth, then quilt that part, rather than putting on the entire design prior to quilting. That is what I did and once I started machine quilting, there were sections that got rubbed off. I suspect that some of the fabrics might have had something to do with that. The chalk just didn’t stick as well to some. Having said that though, what a time saver this was! I would definitely recommend buying it but using it the way I have suggested….or at least doing sections at a time, then quilting.

It works great, but personally, I don’t like mess.

I recommend using this in sections as it rubs of on everything. My sewing machine foot bounce the chalk right off the fabric. Sometimes I go over the chalk with a fabric pen but it will ruin the pen. The chalk does transfer to everything

I used this technique for the first time. Mind you I'm only on my 2nd quilt, but this made marking so much quicker than tracing out a stencil with a disappearing pen. I had the entire quilt marked in less than 45 minutes. Incredible! I thought it'd be super messy, but it is not. Super pleased with this one! I used a white chalk powder on this, so it's a bit hard to see in the pic. I supposed I should utilize 2 colors to be able to see or a dark blue perhaps. But I can easily see it on most of the quilt.

Works if you don’t touch it or move anything. Chalk like disappears very quick and doesn’t work on soft fabrics.

I got it with high hopes to help transfer the stencil designs to fabric doesn't work even on following all the steps. Not recommended
