2121V Light Truck V-Trac Cable Tire Chain

Confessing sins... I run P255/75/17 tires on my 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited 4 door/4x4. Standard issue tires. I reviewed Amazon fitment and Glacier fitment guide before purchase. Both agreed 2121V Trac would fit. They do not fit... Too short to join connections. I reviewed YouTube video for how to install 2121V Trac . True, it was a F-150 truck installation. But, obliviously not P255/75/R17 tires. I know I'm old. No amount of yanking/banking and swearing helped. Did not jack Jeep to try fitting. Sending back now (11FEB14), great one day delivery (pleased) before the "big storm Georgia of 14'." I would advise all to consider situations as this, to be regarded before the big event is upon us. According the the fit guides the 2121V chains should fit my F150. They do not. Too small. No way that they are going to fit on these tires. The chains will be going back. Chains are apparently something that be purchased locally.

Fitting guide shows these should fit 265/70/17 but they are WAY too short for the circumference of the tire. Not even close.

The fitment guide list this size, but they are to big. Loose fit the cables hit the shock housing.made a terrible racket on my 2002 Acura MDX
