I have these in all my lamps and they are wonderful. I mean when you live in tornado alley and the power goes out when the wind blows you don't want to be sitting in the dark for hours because it seems the power always goes out at night. They are so functional! I got the softer lower wattage for my den where the tv is so I wouldn't have the glare. They put out good light for reading in the higher wattage ones. So easy to use just put them in lamps like any other light bulb. The cost is great, not much more than regular bulbs . When the power was off last week due to a limb falling on the line my lights all came on instantly and we had light for the three hours it took the powermen to fix the line. I love these bulbs why would you have normal boring bulbs when you can have magic bulbs hahahahahahah

These really work well during short outages but they last about four hours which allows time to prepare in the chance it will go longer

Bought these as a back up when we loose power and wasn't convinced that they wouldn't work but to my surprise they work great. Just screw into a standard fixture and use the switch like normal. Looks great and super energy efficient. Great if you loose power. Great value.

I really like these bulbs. They are especially handy for power outages and you need light in a small space.

These are really cool! I got two sets and replaced all my bathroom lights with these. One less thing to worry about if the power goes out. I've only been using them for a month so not sure about durability or longitude yet. I got the brightest lights so the transition to these aren't noticeable.

These bulbs are a great idea in the event of a power outage. I charged all bulbs following the directions and I will put a reminder on my calendar to charge them quarterly. I tested them by hanging them throughout the house at dark. They were bright enough for about 4 or 5 hours and then started to dim. I left one hanging in the bathroom and even in the middle of the night it was still a decent night light. These are a good addition to other emergency light sources in the event of a power outage.
