Yes it does. If you are looking for a more natural mint shampoo, try Eden Body work Peppermint Tea Tree Shampoo. I'm pretty sure it is Sulfate free but I don't know about alcohol. I have seen a list of the ingredients online a while back. I've used it and it is a very nice, hydrating shampoo.

Is this product cruelty free?

There is nothing on the label to indicate anything. I found a listing of 101 Beaty products that are cruelty free & “Generic was not on the list.

Is this shampoo color safe?

I don't know, I have untreated gray hair.

Is the tea tree shampoo supposed to be watery

no it should not be watery. Thinner than normal shampoo but not watery. I have tryed this shampoo, I did not like it, and will not be ordering it again. I still have some left. I use it to wash my dogs. Conditioner was not watery but shampoo was.
