Can you use a kettle with these

I would NOT. The remote socket is rated at 10 Amps 2400 Watts, a kettle is normally rated at 13 Amps 3000 Watts. If your kettle is greater than 10 Amp 2400 Watts the remote socket will overheat and could catch fire.

Can you manually turn it back on from socket if its been switched off by remote?

Hello plug is switched on in socket permanently.remote used to turn on and off . No switch actually on plug itself.just socket attachment for any appliance . I recommend this product used every day for outdoor lights and water feature .allows me to light up driveway from 60+ feet away .
