UniFi Flex Mini 5-Port PoE Switch

Great little switch, which perfectly links into the Ubiquiti system for management. Can’t complain on price too much, even though it’s an EU model (so will have an adapter for the PSU - which does need to be made clearer!). So simple to use: just plug it in and adopt on the Ubiquiti portal! Job done

Fantastic little device at a crazy price. I wanted a managed switch so I could direct some devices to an IOT specific network… and this works at a great price. Only issue really was that it’s not a UK version so it comes with an EU plug. They had put a separate cable and adapter in with the switch but they were the cheapest nastiest ones you could wish for. I wouldn’t trust them to be safe or secure.

Top notch UniFi quality as usual, great price great product to expand you ever growing UniFi network or to add to any normal network, it adopts and integrates flawlessly into the UniFi console/ecosystem as any other UniFi device. Running them off POE is handy also if you don’t have power handy/USB C 5v.

I've got a few other Ubiquiti products and was looking for a cheap switch for my office which has a few more devices than it used to thanks to working from home. I did have an old Netgear switch but decided to pick up a Ubiquiti device but didn't want another full size 8 port switch. As a basic switch it does what it says on the tin and was immediately detected by my Ubiquiti controller and once adopted looks like any other Ubiquiti switch with the exception that some stats aren't available and some are not real time. The switch itself is very small, less than half the size of the old Netgear 8 port switch that was on my desk. It can be powered either by USB-C or via PoE but it's worth noting that the bundled power supply is a European version but as it's just standard USB-C it's easy enough to use something else or use PoE if you want. Personally I would have preferred if the USB-C power supply had a detachable cable which would make the process easier of swapping to another plug and really the lack of UK or even just a standard USB-C cable is the only thing that lets it down. I happened to have one going spare but not everyone will. If you're planning on using PoE to drive it then you've got no worries though but remember that this is PoE to power the device only and it will not passthrough.

Got this to extend my UDM Pro's reach with a couple additional devices farther away, and I have to say it does not get simpler than this. I got a couple sockets with 5V regular usb ports and plugged in works just fine! The cable it came with originally is a 2 pin shaver socket cable, so not the 3 pin one unfortunately, but this at least keeps down the plugs in my socket! Just grabbed a regular old type-c to usb cable plugged it in, turned on the port on my UDM pro, and it instantly showed up for adoption. After adopting it did a firmware update (took like 1min or so), and it had its own ip assigned from my dhcp server without a single setting needing to be changed. Of course you would want this switch to have a fixed up so just set that up outside of your DHCP range and you are good to go! Port control also works flawlessly, I am using tagged VLANs for IoT Devices and my main network, and both work flawlessly. It does allow having 2 vlans on the same port even though it says "limited functionality" in the settings page. Its compact, smaller than expected, but you cannot fault it how easy it is to set up and put it in a corner with fairly good airflow. I will just keep the original power cable in case I ever decide to get an adapter and use that, but until then the type-c wall plug works wonderfully. Ports can be individually disabled / enabled and statistics show in the controller hub just fine!

If you are in the UK make sure you buy from this seller! These are the only ones that give you the genuine UK Unifi plug. I had to return 2 from others who just threw in a huge adapter.

Decent, rather disappointing to realize it only has a port for PoE IN, not an output though. But, it also comes with an EU Plug and no adapter. This wasn't mentioned anywhere on the page!

Terrible, tardo varios dias en llegar poco mas de un mes, encima la publicacion dice que son 5 unidades y solo recibi 1! El producto es genuino de ubiquiti y venia cerrado pero la publicacion y tiempos de entrega no cumplieron

J’utilise le Ubiquiti UniFi Switch USW Flex Mini depuis un certain temps et j’en suis très satisfait. Malgré son format compact, il offre d’excellentes performances et une stabilité exemplaire. L’intégration dans l’écosystème UniFi se fait sans aucun problème : tout est détecté et configuré automatiquement via le contrôleur. La gestion via l’application est claire et fluide, parfaite pour surveiller ou ajuster le réseau à distance. L’alimentation PoE est un vrai plus : elle simplifie grandement l’installation en évitant d’avoir à tirer un câble d’alimentation supplémentaire. Un petit switch gigabit fiable, silencieux et bien pensé — idéal pour une installation prêt de la télévision ou dans le bureau. Très bon rapport qualité-prix, fidèle à la qualité Ubiquiti !

It works as expected , adopted by my Unifi Gateway no problems

Great price and great functionality with unifi network, it drops right in, adopted immediately. This switch itself is not managed but is easily controlled and monitored by the rest of the network and extends full gigabit speeds. I have it in the game room with gaming consoles, TVs and a stereo plugged into it. Plus it is PoE powered by the main switch. Works well, good price. Pleased and recommended.
