Smooth, consistent lighting. I initially purchased a different set that I returned because you could see dark spots between each individual light in the strip (the blue lights in the photo). Provides significant light at its brightest, and a warm low at its dimmest. The screws did not hold up well when trying to mount directly into a stub. I would imagine just drywall would be fine. 10/10 would purchase again.

Nice consistent light with two issues. The color may vary from strip to strip so if you are installing two or more in a given area the light color may be different on each one. The power supplies that ship with these strips tend to be pretty cheap. If the light fails within a year or two of installation, try a different power supply. I have had two of them go bad since I started using them. Overall I am happy with the lighting despite the crappy power supplies.

I wanted indirect lighting for the area above our bookshelf. The goal is to have subtle light even when I don't want to turn on a lamp. I went through several other lights before I found this one, and it's perfect. I have them on the top of the bookshelves in the library and in the game room, and I haven't turned them off since I installed them. They don't get warm at all, a real factor in Louisiana in the summer! They have a switch that is easy to use to turn them off and on, but I prefer leaving them on all the time. It makes the house safe to move around in at night and gives a warm, welcoming look at all times. If you are looking for an easy way to add some elegance to your home, get these.

The ON/OFF switch broke on our lights 3 months into using them normally (the cage part came off the button, and we couldn't get it back on) but I emailed Lamomo and they responded less than a day later and sent us a replacement for the entire product within 2 days. Aside from the issue with the button, the product is great and we haven't had any issue with the lights themselves.

These get to be about 120°F to the touch, I’ve checked it with a laser temperature reader. The plug gets that hot as well. The light is very nice and soft and easy on the eyes if you’re not looking directly in it. I have it for lighting behind my mirror in the bathroom.

In case you're thinking of replacing the included remote control - with a WLED controller, for example - be advised that this is a 2-channel PWM strip, compatible with low-side switching by a MOSFET. Aside from that, this works well for adding some additional light down a hallway, for example. The included RF remote does work through walls and has a limited set of controls: four color temperatures, brightness, and an optional flash/strobe setting. That's fine - you'll probably just use it like a regular light switch once you get your preferred color temperature set.

Die Lamomo COB LED Streifen passen einfach perfekt in mein Setup! 💡 Die Lichtqualität ist super gleichmäßig, ohne sichtbare Punkte, und das warme, satte Leuchten bringt richtig Atmosphäre in den Raum. Besonders praktisch finde ich, dass man sie ganz einfach auf die gewünschte Länge kürzen kann – ideal, wenn man das Setup individuell anpassen will. Beau rendu, j’étais bien content une fois installée, sauf lorsqu’elle s’est allumée toute seule en pleine nuit à 4h du matin… après un autre test en journée elle s’est à nouveau éclairée toute seule. Depuis je suis obligé de la débrancher, du coup la télécommande est peu utile. Vraiment dommage

Hochwertiges Produkt, dass super funktioniert und an sich wirklich toll aussieht. Leider ist das Licht aber nicht ganz so warm wie gedacht und wirkt nicht so gemütlich. Ich hätte es gerne noch etwas gelblicher gehabt.
