Holds iPad Securely
I use this to hold my range iPad and then attach it to a mini tripod. Holds the iPad securely and works well in bother portrait and landscape.

It is fantastic for my home studio or on the go
I have a Samsung 8 tablet. This fits my tablet or my Samsung Ultra22 phone. The only issue is the holder prongs on the top and bottom do not hold the phone as tight as I like because of the popsocket on the back of my phone. Or the case on my Tablet is pretty bulky but it holds. It would be nice if those prongs were a bit longer to hold the items with the case. Otherwise it is sturdy and very easy to use. It does not weigh much and was a fantastic value for the money. It is versatile to keep your device in landscape or vertical mode. The easily little button on the back extends the device to make it larger for my tablet. It is fantastic for my home studio or on the go. I highly recommend this.

Works well for me
This works perfectly for my application. I do not use the extra piece that sits behind which I think might be a weak point. My small tabletop tripod has a ball head and I don't need to have that weight and possible breaking point.
