I read Reddit threads saying this will not help loose skin despite finding medical articles saying it does help but depending on how much weight you lose and how fast, surgery may still be needed to remove loose skin I have lost 130 pounds since May 2024 (the best chances for loose skin tightening back up after weight loss from what I've read is age, genetics, and not losing more than 1-2 pounds a week. I've stayed in the 1-2 range) And the loose skin particularly on my lats for my arms and stomach was just gross. It looked not only loose but shriveled so I figured I'd try taking these (read up to 6g a day is effective or these are 3 pills for a serving size of 3000mg or 3g so I take 3 in the morning and 3 at night) and while I've continued to lose another 15 pounds in the 2 months I've been taken them, most the loose skin in my arms is gone and what's there doesn't look shriveled and I'd say at least 1/4 of the stomach loose skin is gone and probably 50% less shriveled looking. I read your skin will continue to contract for up to a year after losing weight and then after that you'd need surgery for anything that's still there. I'm down from 315 to 185 and want to get to 170 and just keep taking the collagen and letting the skin contract for a year. But it has made a noticeable difference in the 2 months I've been taking it, especially my arms. If anything they should look worse as I've continued to lose weight but they keep looking better. I'm not weightlifting or doing anything else that would be contracting them. I did order dumbells and plan on doing that regular once I'm at my target weight. Just only so much I want to do at one time. I've always leaned towards believing supplements were a waste of money but I have been very happy with these. Plus it's just thr collagen 1 and 3 as I read that the other types are just basically filler and don't do much for you and for my purposes for loose skin, they do nothing at all.

These, like most nutritional supplements, are not instant. I began taking collagen because I am old, and hoped it would keep my skin, hair and nails healthier. I have a pot of powder I add (a teaspoon or so) to cereal when I have it, and to pudding or even ice cream if I have that; anything that will "disappear" the flavor. I found these tablets last year, and have used them every day with vitamin/suppl. regimen. This consistency of taking them (six tabs a day!) has given me noticeable improvement in fingernail strength especially. A few months ago I began to give them to my husband, who is 85 and has very thin skin. He doesn't even notice when it tears (garden work, usually!), but I thought it might help, and it has! His skin is still 85 years old, lol, but it doesn't tear easily now! I really notice the lack of blood pouring down his leg, or arm, almost every day!!!!! Also, I think it helped his quick healing from a recent operation, but of course can't be positive about that. They have no significant flavor and are not hard to swallow, with a drink of course. You need a paring knife or something similar to tear open the heavy pink skin at the neck of the bottle.

I love this project! Before buying it on Amazon I brought this project in CVS that had more capsules that last for 90 days. When buying this product on Amazon, there was no other options of how many days and how many capsules it was only 90 capsules for 30 days. I didn’t realize when buying it I’ll only last for a month. Which unfortunately has made me looking into different products that have more capsules that will last a lot longer for me to save time and money. The product is very cheap and very great as a starter for a month. And it has made my skin more clear less pimples and it also has helped my hair grow. It doesn’t taste like anything, but it’s OK. Swallowing the product of itself is OK although having to swallow three capsules every single day and remember it’s a little bit more challenging but other than that it’s a great product as a starter, but not a great product if you already have taken this product before and it has More capsules and lasts longer days other than that, it is cheap. It’s affordable for a beginner.

Take them and watch your hair change! Both my mom and I take these supplements and I have never had so many compliments on my hair. I went from Lord Farquaad to Princess length hair. I had layers that would NOT grow out leaving me with curly hair that drove me insane. Now my layers are growing out my hair is strong and yah. For nails and skin I would say it works well too. I recently stopped getting my nails done and my grow out is fast and my new nail is stronger than ever. I also keep getting carded so hey that's a plus for skin quality right? The only downside is the HORSE PILL size. If you don't do well with larger pills this is not the supplement for you. Recommended 6 a day and they are not small.
