Thousand names in praise of the Divine Mother. The names are given both in verse form for chanting and listed individually (Namavali) for archana. The text of the meditation, stotra, and Namavali is given in Sanskrit, with transliteration, and English translation. The translation of the Namavali is an extension of an earlier one by D.S. Sharma, who also wrote the extensive introduction. Review: great book - study this and chant this every Friday and full moon day Review: Renowned translator, very good version, - Easily portable, with Sanskrit, transliteration, and brief translation by the renowned Ramakrishna Mission monk. For people who want to start daily chanting, this is very helpful. Initially it takes 2 hour or so, but as you progress, less than 1 hour shall be enough to complete. Good learning material for Sanskrit, too.
