Good Modification
This is a new improved version of the classic medicine ball. Its defining feature are the handles attached to the ball. The handles make it easier to use the ball, allowing you to concentrate on the actual exercise rather than trying to grasp the medicine ball.

I was using a 6lb medicine ball at therapy---I wanted a few pounds heavier to use at home. This is great! Dual handles is a plus!!

Smelled like an oil refinery; better with time
Well made, fit for purpose, but boy does it stink when first opened. I have had to leave it in the garage, in the summer heat, to try and cook off some of the VOCs. After six weeks it is suitable for indoor use, so I upped the rating to 4 stars. If you are odor-sensitive, you might want to give this one a pass.

Product was packaged superbly and the item was better than I expected from what I saw in other reviews. The only smell that I noticed is a rubber plastic smell....which is common considering the material that the item is made of. I expect that smell to lighten as time goes on but not near as bad as other reviews said. This item would cost alot more buying it from anywhere else. My workouts have gone to another level with this item.
