I was planning on revising my review bc once I hit submit, I looked at the door sensor and realized it uses a battery. I realized that was probably the problem. It did stop working after 4 months bc I never changed the battery. At our shop, the door is constantly being opened and closes. The battery must have just worn down. I tried to revise my review, but it was still being processed by Amazon so I had to wait for it to go live. In that time, the company contacted me to see if they could help or send a replacement. I think that's the 1st time I've had an issue with a product and the company contacted me to try to resolve it. Usually it's the other way around. Anyways 5 stars for the product and the company, and 3 stars for me being an idiot who didn't consider that the sensor might need a new battery. My original review is at the bottom. I left it bc it does show that I've always considered it a 5 star product. I just thought it broke, but it hadn't. It just stopped working. It was great for about 4 months and out of nowhere, it just quit working. Something to do with the sensors, I'm sure but I don't have time to try to figure out what's wrong with the darn thing. Also, the 50 plus (or whatever number of selections) is really unnecessary. I just need the one ding dong. I don't need sirens, crowing cock, wind chimes, etc. I'm sure some people would find the # of options a great thing, but it was annoying having to go through 50 choices very time the one sound I wanted got changed by accident. If it hadn't stopped working so quickly, I would give it 5 stars for ease of setup, range, and effectiveness. It worked every single time until the day it just quit.

Even whether I am in the garden or on the second level, the signal remains strong and dependable. I like that there are 62 various chimes to pick from, which enables me to personalize the sound to my desire, and I also like that the level settings can be adjusted, which ensures that it is never too loud or subdued. The installation did not present any problems. The magnetic door open contact sensor may be easily attached to any door frame, and the doorbell plugin receiver can be installed in a location that is most suitable for you, anywhere within your house. It's in the living room where I keep it, and it goes well with the rest of my furniture and accessories. Plugging it in and selecting the tone that you want it to play are the only steps involved. The silent option is one of the features that I find extremely useful. There are times when I need some peace and quiet, and with the easy click of a button, I can mute the chime while still getting visual notifications from the LED light indication. This is convenient for when I'm driving or working late at night. This door chime is a smart innovation that expands its use in a variety of settings. Since I set up the gadget, there have been zero issues with its performance. I have not had any problems with erroneous warnings or signal interruptions. Both the magnetic sensor and the battery life are outstanding, with the former lasting for weeks without having to be replaced.

I wrote the below review, and to the company's credit, they agreed to refund my money. However, I was made aware that there is a battery (non-standard size) in the door sensor. As soon as I replaced it, the chime started working again. I do not believe that there is any mention of this in the instructions, which is why I am only giving it four stars (along with the fact that it's not a standard-sized battery). But I applaud the company for offering a full refund and I am happy to again have a working chime. Original Review: I ordered this because I am frequently in my office alone. I wanted to know when someone came in. The first one they sent me would only work if it had a line of sight to the door, which was a problem. The company sent me a new one and that one worked better for a while. The door to the office is less than 15 feet from my office and I have a window that looks out at the area where the office door is. The chime was plugged in behind me, so perhaps 25 feet from the door sensor. The problem is that the chime and the sensor would unpair frequently, so I would have to try to pair them again. I would get them repaired (which is not easy because the directions are not well written), only to have them unpair within a week. Now they won't pair at all. There appears to be terrible quality control at this company. I tried to email them at the address that is printed in the instructions, but I keep getting a bounce-back message saying that is not a valid email address. So there is no way to let them know of these problems other than posting a review here. While the price seems good, in this case, it seems you get what you pay for.

Barely 3 months of regular use and it just fully stopped working. I thought it might be the battery somehow but replacing it did nothing. Sensor and chime appear powered and undamaged, but still does not register the door opening to trigger the ring at all. The warranty says covered for one year so I need either a refund or a replacement, as I cannot make the return through Amazon.

Have ‘‘tis on our front door in my store. It’s loud enough to hear without being annoying. Easy to install with the adhesive that is provided

Using one sensor for screen door and the other for mailbox. Picked the rooster sound and a lower volume. Both sensors working well but with so many choices for sounds, it's aggravating that I still can't see how to pick a different sound for each sensor. Getting a door chime sound (not the sound I picked) seemingly randomly a few times per day/night. Maybe it's picking up a neighbor's wireless door bell or something; I don't really know. Replaced batteries already (after months) and these A23 are less common than the usual AAA.
