It's very subtle but lots of rechargeable batteries are slightly larger than their non-rechargeable counterparts which can lead to getting batteries stuck in devices when it comes time to pop them out. If you're having any issues fitting rechargeable batteries into certain devices with less wiggle room, these Eloop Pro batteries work great. No issues with opening the battery cover or getting these in and out of my Roku remote! If they're anything like their AA counterparts, they'll hold a charge well.

Can’t emphasize on getting quality battery from a reputable company like Sanyo. That’s right!!! Sanyo made these but company was acquired by Panasonic a few years back. It’s still the same manufacturing process.They’re a bit pricier than regular nimh AA but the payoff is better since less charge needed and longer shelf life. It charges slower than my EBL 2800 but they’re the true capacity.These cells hold 32-58mohm and 2560-2620mah capacity. They’re quite close to their rated capacity.Bottom line: get some quality cells so you don’t never have to worry about whether they’ll fail when you needed them most…

Good batteries - they work well and hold their charge for a long time.

They really are better than the rest.

I charged and let run down the same headlamps with white eneloop and these black ones, same light output, same runtime. Both work great and from experience the white ones can be recharged many times and have more power then alkaline batts so will continue to buy white ones to get more batts for the same money, I have about 30 already :). I did not give 5 star because I think the advertising implies there is a material improvement which I did not see. Maybe for flash photography or drones or something but general use i did not see it.
