Will improve flexibility, but don't expect miracles in a few days..
We got this product for our Irish dancer who is a pre-teen. We can see improvement with it, so that is good. It isn't some miracle thing, she stretches daily with it, and I don't think she is "not working" but it isn't like she went from a semi-split to a full split in the time we have had it. So don't over-read the hype. It is a good device for improving flexibility, better I think than most people will get on their own. But it isn't going to make you do a full split like the ad shows in just a few days. Regardless, it works, and it helps, and we are not dissatisfied with where we are.Three comments drop the review to 4 stars.1: The "door piece" is metal, so if you aren't careful, you will scratch your door or damage your jamb. You need a cover over it somehow.2: The instructions are pretty poor in detail. We figured it out, but there are several other potential stretches that seem obvious to do that aren't mentioned in the instructions.3: The packaging looks very cheap. Looks very much like something someone threw in a baggie after stitching it up in their garage. The product isn't cheap, it works well and seems well made. But the packaging doesn't feel like it contains a high-quality item. Poor first impression.

Only a few days, and already love it. Short or Tall have no fear it is generous in length
I purchased the I-Flex at my teacher's request to improve my flexibility for dance. I was concerned about the size since it was "Jr" and debated on purchasing the full I-Flex, but after reading reviews on the over the door bracket for the I-Flex not fitting on a lot of people's doors, I purchased this one instead. The I-Flex arrives in a plastic bag with instructions that look like they were printed from a computer. The instructions are general but are helpful for giving you different ways of using the I-Flex.The I-Flex is anchored in a door using a strap, a heavy washer and a D-ring. The washer is simply knotted onto the strap. This can be helpful if you need to adjust anchor length. It's solid and did not move when I used it.If you are worried on size of the Leg stretching strap - have no fear, it is super generous in length. I am 5'4" and I have no doubt that a 6" person could use this. What's nice about the strap is that one side as a loop at the end, I assume as the grip, and the other side has a series of four loops so that you can increase the angle of your stretch.Overall I really like this product and I am glad I chose the I-Flex Jr.

I absolutely love this product
I absolutely love this product! I did not run into the issue of the top part banging into the door causing dents or scratches. For the price, you couldn't beat it. As a mother of 4 and a cheerleading coach I wanted to finally get a chance to bring back my flexibility. Within the first month of use I dropped several inches. I'm not even 1.5 inches from hitting the floor in all 3 splits due to utilizing this.As others recommended, I do HIGHLY recommend purchasing a muscle roller. Even during stretching, utilizing that made my muscles relax enough to stretch a little bit further than if I was not using it. So I seemed to be pulling my splits a little faster utilizing both at the same time.

works as expected; wish it came with a hook to better secure it to the door
works as expected; however, I wish it came with a hook to better secure it to the door.It comes with an oversized washer that just rests on top of the door, so if a child were to grab it, it would fall without any pressure. The washer is heavy and could really hurt someoneI don't have young children in the home so I will not be returning the item as it is a great product for stretching and of good quality

Stretching is a lot more productive with this device
This was a great purchase. I am obsessed with stretching and this I-Flex Unit in the Junior size is not only perfect for mini me but for myself as well. I love the various ways that you can stretch your body with this simple, yet ingenious device! I use it almost every day and it has drastically increased my flexibility. I am pretty short at 5'1" so it is pretty much a perfect fit for me. My daughter is a ballerina and this allows you to perfect your arabesques and your hamstrings and other muscles will feel amazingly lithe and elastic.

I've gained much better range of motion and strength in my legs/hips with this! My hips have always been bad and as a 24 y/o dancer it stinks, but this has really helped me improve in so many ways. My only thing is that you should hook it so the hook is tucked BEHIND your door frame as apposed to in front of it so it doesn't warp the top of your door. It gives it a better anchor to work with as well.

If your contemplating buying this because of the "Jr." in its name..dont.
I am 5 7' ,l and I weight a hefty 209, and I have some very thick thighs, meaning my legs weigh at least 40 lbs each. This works fine for me...and for the price...it can't be beat. But if your thinking that it's not going to work because it's "meant for smaller, shorter people", just get it anyways, because the "Jr." us just a marketing ploy that gets you to consider buying the regular I flex which is $30 more... and quite over priced for what it actually is.

They don't photograph the whole thing for a reason.
I wish the pictures showed the whole product. The part that "hooks behind the door" is just a large washer held in place by a knot in the nylon strap. It does what it's supposed to do, but if you own a sewing machine, you could make this with a couple dollars. This would have been so much better looking if they used a large metal buckle instead.I'd return it, but it's more of a hassle to pay for the return than it's worth. I'm keeping it, but I wish I knew what the whole apparatus looked like. Posting a photo to help other people out.
