Al Arz 100% Pure Sesame Tahini

PLEASE KNOW THAT THIS WILL RUIN YOU FOR ALL OTHER BRANDS OF TAHINI [at least of the many I have tried]. That said I recently finished my first jar and it's delightful. There are only two brands available to me locally, and one is really bad while the other is ok, but far too expensive for the quality. I started ordering online and found one that I love that also happens to be very affordable. While I will still purchase that one, THIS one will be purchased regularly and used more judiciously. On first taste I thought, "Meh; it's good; not better, maybe, than my usual, but good, and glad I tried it. Now I know." Well, let me say that over the course of the next several days I kept sneaking tastes and adding it to all of the things and then, when trying to go back to a third decent brand [that I wouldn't, however, purchase again] I realized that none of them even come close to the deliciousness that is Al Arz. Just wish it wasn't so expensive, though I say def worth it. I kept it at room temp as usual and that works well. 1) Consistency is nice and thin, not watery or bland, and doesn't really separate which is a huge plus for me. This is my perfect consistency as I have now become a fan of ice "cream" because I can pour this straight out of the jar onto it... 2) This is not bitter at all. Though if you are not a fan of tahini, or maybe not acclimated, it could come off that way...very nice, flavorful, bite. A good tahini should have that as one that's just bitter is just...well...bitter but not in a tasty way.

This tahini paste is the best I've ever tried. It has a rich, nutty flavor and a smooth texture that blends perfectly into dishes. The quality is exceptional, and it really elevates any recipe. I highly recommend it for anyone who loves tahini or wants to try a top-notch product.

The best, most authentic tahini I can find!! I taste tested several brands from Israeli supermarkets and Al Arz really stood out, and I'm so glad I can get it in the US, albeit for a much higher price. The "tahini" sold in most US grocery stores I find barely edible. Al Arz makes tahini exactly as it should be -- mild and nutty, not a hint of bitterness, and with a smooth, thin, even consistency that pours like maple syrup. I use it to make hummus and to drizzle on top of my shakshuka. Highly recommend!!

I've reordered this tahini two or three times now.; in fact, it's the only one I use. The taste is very good, and I really like the consistency: not too oily, and it doesn't have huge dry chunks in it like some other brands I've tried. Stir it up once, and it stays well mixed in the refrigerator.

The product is good, but arrived opened, spilled, and totally ruined. They claim I can’t get a refund? I’ll never buy it again.

There are many different kinds of tahini available these days, and not all tahinis are created equal. This particular tahini comes highly recommended by many chefs who specialize in Middle Eastern and Israeli cuisine, as well as by everyday people who enjoy cooking with it. I was extremely happy to find it on Amazon. While it is a bit pricey, it's absolutely worth the cost.

This tahini is smooth and delicious. Great for making hummus, but I use it like peanut butter. No bitterness like the previous brand I purchased from Whole Foods.
