This kit has all the parts needed to fix broken zippers and is of good quality.What's good about this kit- has several zipper sizes so you can choose what fits as a replacement. This comes with #3, #5, #8 and #10, versatile enough for everything from pants, jackets, backpacks and even heavier items like tents!.- comes in several colors like gold, silver, black etc- kit includes the zipper as well as zip stops and end stops, and also a plier that you use to clamp down on the zip stops, or to cut off broken coil endsI tried this on a coil-type zip . I think the exact size for the backpack zip I was fixing was Size#5, however it was easier to slip on Size#8 and that worked well. Check out YT videos to see the right way to do this- basically you have to free up the loose ends of the zip and then slip in the new zipper & put in the end stop. The backpack I had had a "closed" zip with the ends tucked away behind a side flap , so I had to use a cutting knife to expose the end of the zip on one side of the backpack, and an extra step to sew back the flap.

The items are great! However, there is no way to create a zipper that is in any way functional, because, at the top, you put in a stopper, and at the bottom, you’re supposed to install a stopper on either side. BUT, no zipper head will work because the stoppers are too big. You know how, when you go to zip up your coat and you slide the little plastic part of the bottom of the zipper into the zipper head? Yeah, that’s what is NOT included. So you are stuck with a window like opening that can’t function for anything other than sliding a zipper up and down.

Bought this to fix a zipper on a mandolin bag and found other zippers around the house that needed fixing. Minor complaint is providing more zipper pulls since many of the zippers I repaired just needed a new pull but other than that a nice kit once you figure out how to use it. I had to look up a YouTube video on how to do it since the kit came without any instructions! Otherwise I'd given 5 stars

The zippers are not labelled or numbered; numbers crucial for use. They are cheaply made and do not fit as intended. While there are many parts in this kit, the kit does not include some of the most common styles and sizes of zipper, the ones I need. In short, nothing worked with this kit. If I can figure out how to return it, I definitely will do so.

I was able to replace my zipper on my bibs. I have Schmidt bibs that lost the zipper part itself, was able to put a new one on. It works great!. Only bad thing is no instructions for replacing that part of the zipper.

I liked the different sizes, but after I got the pull on it didn't work with the teeth on my coat. It went on with no problem but wouldn't work.

These parts are perfect for building a zipper or making zipper repairs.

The zippers are light and fragile, which are made of inferior iron and cannot bear any bending of the plier. Terrible ductility! Inferior stuffs made from China!

The grap in the side are too narrow won’t go on over the sipper
