Can this control tv volume through ir or just the console cec?

AJ that isn’t answering the question. My Xbox one media volume remote won’t work on cec and looking online none of them do. Better to wait if there ever will be a dedicated series media remote

I don't think you can. I disabled sound features and just live with the fact it is a bit broken.
