Will fit my milwakee sds rotary hammer 5/8"(16mm)?

I know this is old but for anyone that sees it in the future, it will fit SDS plus. It will not fit SDS Max. Most small rotary hammers such as a 5/8 are usually SDS plus.

Excellent question. Makita's HP1640 is a 3/8" chuck Hammer Drill, and this Makita SDS-Plus Bit Set is designed specifically for SDS-Plus Rotary Hammers. However, these SDS-Plus bits will fit inside your 3/8" chuck hammer drill. It is important to note that the 1/2" SDS-Plus bit is above the rated capacity of your Makita HP1640 and will over exert your power tool's capacity to drill. It is recommend to always drill below your Hammer Drill's Chuck rated capacity.

I dont know for certain. I used an off brand rotary hammer (Not a hammer drill, two different things) which I got on Amazon. But the SDS is a standard that I think refers in part to the size and shape of the chuck: An SDS bit should fit an SDS drill. Check the manual or packaging of your drill to see if it is called and "SDS" drill. That'll tell you, I believe, but don't quote me.

Will they work in a DeWalt rotary hammer drill?

If you're DeWalt accepts sds plus bits they should work.
