GAME 4560 Conversion Kit (for Intex & Bestway Pools),Gray, 40mm to 1 1/2 Inch

I ordered these to fit the Hayward wide mouth skimmer box for my above ground pool. Fits the skimmer perfectly and the adapter fits nicely onto the intex supplied pipes that come with the intex sand filter (white hoses with grey screw collar).I didn’t use them in the end as I added a ball valve to my skimmer box and used 38mm heavy duty pond hoses for my set up with hose clamps.

Bought these to convert 40mm diverted valve to 38mm Intex pipes. The 40mm side after a bit of PTFE tape was fine and could be tightened. The other threaded part to Intex pipe is really lose, so lose that as soo. As you reach anywhere tight enough to get a good seal the threads give way twist the pipe resulting in a leak. Cannot recomend these at al

This adapter is absolutely rubbish. I bought it to link my flotide heat pump to my bestway sand filter and 12ft bestway pool. However, the connection between the adapter and the heat pump and pipe is poor. It is leaking constantly. Really disappointed
