Great product, seems accurate and has plenty of useful features.
I wasn't sure what to expect with this, but read a lot of the reviews and went for it, the price was pretty good and it comes with access to an app (although it wasn't obvious that the app had Apple Health integration).Anyway, happy to say that this oximeter is pretty good. I've compared the readings to what my Apple Watch is seeing and they were within 4% or 5% of each other. The app was extremely easy to set up. I have an iPhone 11, just installed the app, opened it and when prompted said it was OK for it to access Bluetooth. Then I turned the oximeter on, it instantly showed up in the app and a quick tap later and it was paired.Looking in the settings of the app I found an Apple Health option, I switched that on and then could see the results instantly appear in the health app. Very easy to set up and use.So far I have been very impressed, it does everything I want and more.

My search is over!
After reading literally dozens of reviews across many different supplier's sites I settled on this pulse-oximiter as it looked like a reasonable compromise of price and functionality. I don't have unlimited funds, so the 'high end' offerings simply were not justifiable. The very cheapest ones didn't have recording facilities which is a 'must have' for me - see below. It arrived with Amazon's customary promptness and good customer service. It was unboxed and instructions read, though it turned out to be very intuitive in use.The only part I didn't fully understand was how to 'attach' it to the app, but it became obvious once the app was downloaded to my Android powered mobile phone, as the first thing it asks is whether you want to add a sensor. I happily dabbed on the one it found (there were no others in range) and everything from there on in worked perfectly. I was sitting in sofa position 'A' when I took my first recorded ten minute reading (see pic). When I took the pulsimeter off my finger it stopped recording and stored it. I used the 'share' function to send it to my email account as a .jpg file, which I then reduced by 30% in Microsoft Picture Manager to add to this review.I'm very happy so far, and will be trying it overnight to see if it records a night time's worth of readings which I can then show to my doctor as there's a suspicion I may have un-diagnosed sleep apnoea. This should help to find out. Very happy with this product so far.

A basic and rather pricey unit.
Purchased this item for use at home. It comes with batteries, remains to be seen how long they will work. I was a health professional back in the day and SPO2 finger recorders like this are for 'spot' use only. Not to be left on a digit for too long. They can, in certain circumstances, cause damage to the finger tissue, so follow the instructions and don't leave it on for more than a couple of minutes. There is a cord which can be threaded through the device to enable it to be worn like a lanyard. But why anyone would want to do that is debatable. We used the lanyard cord at work to hook it onto the BP machine so it wouldn't get lost. There is no cover with it. It arrives in a neat little box, with a plastic shell around it for protection. There is a folded instruction leaflet, the print is quite small though. It gives a reading pretty fast when switched on of the peripheral oxygen saturation. But, be aware, if fingers are cold or if nail varnish is worn, the result can be incorrect. The pulse rate is simply the number of beats recorded by the sensor. To get an accurate heart rate, it is better to do a manual reading and check the rhythm and strength of the heart rate (pulse). It will not identify an arrhythmia or if the pulse is thready or bounding and hard. For a first aid kit is is ok, but I wouldn't be paying the same amount again in a hurry, particularly when yiuo can get the same item from other companies, including Boots, for less than half the price. It is well made, good quality, but I reiterate, it is expensive for a basic SPO2 probe. It is a nice little unit, but I would suggest the link to mobile technology is not what it appears to be, compared with the advert on here. It is really hard to link it up to a smart phone (I have three different types, one for work, one for home and one belonging to my son), it would not link to any of them. I will update this monitor if anything changes.

Very good value - highly recommended
This is so much cheaper than other spo2 recorders and the only compromise is that the device you wear on your finger is just like the standard finger oximeter, rather than something easier to keep on while sleeping. This wasn’t a problem for me, it stayed on and recorded perfectly. It may not be for everyone though. The app is easy and you don’t have to store your data on iCloud if you prefer not to. I don’t and have the data on my phone. I can just get a screen shot or send a pdf copy if I want to keep any of it. I highly recommend this product.

Good Pulse Oximeter and ‘bluetooth’ App
Well designed with colour display. Accurate (checked against NHS devices).Perhaps a bit small for those with very large fingers? Does not work well in bright sunshine!I really like the iPhone App with which it ‘pairs’, the data automatically saves and ‘history’ can be reviewed off-line. Graphs displayed on the iPhone App are very useful for me during exercise, also large clear numeric values for Blood Oxygen % and Pulse rate.Overall I think this is good value and would buy again.
