Find it Games More Fun (origial Version)

I purchased the Original Find It game for my three-year-old granddaughter to play with when she comes over. I had hoped she would like it, but I never expected her to become so entranced by it! She and I spent a great deal of time looking for objects, and she became very excited each time she located one of the hidden treasures. The wonderful thing about this game is that it can be enjoyed by anyone of any age. My granddaughter played it with my 87-year old mother, who also got a kick out of trying to find the buried objects. I brought the Find It game out again on Christmas when we had a houseful of company, and the adults became obsessed with trying to find the elusive penny. Two adult guests eventually found it, and there was much excitement when that happened! I own two versions of Find It (the other one being the beach version), and both of them are equally fun. The games can be enjoyed alone or with a whole group, and they are fun for all ages. Being contained in the cylinder makes the game easily transportable to backyard or car, and storage is simple. Find It is sensibly priced, durable, and fun for everyone. I would definitely call this a 5-star product!

The whole family was entranced by this toy, from preschoolers to teenagers and even the adults. While it's essentially a solo game, a few more people can look on at the same time so they don't HAVE to wait for their own turn (though of course it's cooler to hold). It's a perfect self-contained game for travel. I was actually surprised at how effectively and how long it held the attention of many family members of various ages. I would have expected the appeal to be somewhat more limited, would have anticipated a lot more giving up on things that are hard to find, but instead everyone loved it and spent HOURS on it overall (not all at once, generally, but overall). Also, it's not entirely finished once you've found everything - you can still try again, especially if you haven't done it in a while (think one long car trip to the next?) I rated it well for educational value because I think it's great for developing visual discrimination. The same skill you use to spot a wing nut in a sea of pellets and stuff will be useful in life when you need to skim a textbook for the word "Napoleon." I also think, quite unscientifically, that it strengthens kids' attention - with no batteries or flashing lights.

I bought one of these for my 84 year old grandmother that can no longer do word finds due to arthritis. She loves to sit and turn this thing looking for different objects. She leaves it on the end table and everyone that comes to visit picks it up to check it out. One of my younger cousins loved it so much he wanted his very own, so we bought him one.

This game is fun whether you play it alone or with others. I think it also helps me remain cognitively sharp as I age. I’m 75.

I purchased this Find It for my 11 yr old nephew for Christmas. I opened it to check it out when it arrived and basically there are a lot of little items hidden in a tube of beads. You turn, shake, and twist the capsule around and new items reveal themselves. There is a little post-it sized notepad that comes with it where you can check off each item as you find it. He really liked it and we spent about a half hour taking turns with it, along with other family members. He still ha not found all of the items so will occasionally pick it up and play with it. Good for rainy days or long car rides, etc. Fun for the whole family and any guests that may pop over!

This is such a cool game!!! I was obsessive about searching for all the little objects in the synthetic birdseed and then I couldn't take it anymore! This game will drive you nuts!!! (but in a good way ;-)) Then it came to me: what if all the items on the list really aren't in there and the people at the Find It factory are having a good laugh over the thought of my frustration!?!! Arrrrgh!!! Seriously, everyone from little kids to elderly have fun with this at my house! I wish I sold these things because I've had so many friends ask where they could get one! It's also just a neat thing to leave on a coffee table because you can challenge yourself to find as many items as you can in even a few minutes. I think I discovered a great thing to keep on hand for emergency gifts because it's perfect for anyone-any age.

My daughter and I love this! It's a great car activity. Actually, it's a great activity anywhere we are sitting (like in waiting rooms). There are some items that perpetually float around the outside of the tube and aren't much of a challenge, like the feather. I've tried to force the feather to the inside, but it always comes back out. There are other items that I still haven't found after a week of looking, and that keeps it playable longer (yes, I'm still looking for that penny). I've seen home-made versions of this made from soda bottles, and those are fun, too. One advantage this game has over home-made is the octagonal ends that keep it from rolling away. Another advantage is the item list. We love that there is not only a paper list to check off, but that the list is also printed on the top. This makes a great gift for anyone. Enjoy!

Find It Games Original Version - Green Ends This by far is the best Find It game that I have in my collection. There are so many items in this one I still haven't found them all. I haven't even started searching for the penny yet since I know that is by far the hardest of the objects to find. These Find It games keep me entertained for hours on end. When people come to visit they always pick it up and are instantly playing for hours. Oh yeah, the kids like them too, LOL.
