If you aren't using a professional water purification company and are doing it yourself, Aquasana removes the largest variety of contaminants from your tap water. It's easy to set up and install. Unfortunately, replacing these filters every 3 months for a family of 4, isn't cheap at 100.00. As I live alone, I usually keep my filter approximately 5 months before replacement. It will reduce cold water flow somewhat.

I am happy with this filter. Easy to install even if you are only a little bit handy. Pressure is good but obviously maybe 10% less pressure than usual. To be expected! We use it in a summer home so change the filter every summer which is very simple. Although the drinking water is good in our area our home is old with lead pipes so this filter makes sense for us. The cost seems low for providing safer drinking water!

I ordered two filters. One installed easily. The other didn’t because the manifold leaked. Aquasana sent a new manifold, I installed it and second filter easily went in. Good tasting water.

Works great and easy to change.

I like the water filter and think it is good value for money. The one thing though is that because it tries to take out a lot of things, the filter gets clogged easily and starts to significantly slow down in less than a month. There's a review here that shows to create a two step filtration process using a less efficient and much filter first before the water gets filtered but that aquasana filter. This has allowed my aquasana filter to live its full expected six months.

Has worked great for us we have replaced it 3 times and every single time it’s easy to use and makes our water taste better.

Easy to install. No complaints.

While the filter is easy to install and use, over time we have noticed that the lifespan of the filter is getting shorter. In the beginning we would have a filter for 5 months. Now we are down to 2-3 months. This makes this a very very expensive water filter over time. We would have been better off choosing a different solution. I would not recommend this product if we were to do this again.

Took a lot longer to arrive than originally stated. I had to chase it up with Amazon. No communication from seller, won't be buying again. Very happy with the actual filter, it works very well and we've used the system for a couple of years.

What a waste of time and money! I bought a new filter because I thought the previous owners of the house were using it for a long time and the filter was clogged. To my surprise, the new filter was better, but the cold water flow was 10 times less than the hot line. And after less than 3 months, the flow is ridiculous! We can use tempered water because the hot water pressure wins, and I ended up removing the system.
