Perfect!
I don't usually leave product reviews, and I didn't want to leave this one either, but alas, procrastination. As I set to work and I was looking at my 10-year-old laptop, I thought "This thing gets real hot real fast". I have tried other fans before, and they weren't enough to cool down my laptop. I have to take this fan with me everywhere I go, along with my laptop. It's the only way to guarantee it will not shut down. So the most important things: - It's keeping my laptop cool; it's basically the life support of my old gal at this point. - The adjustability of the angle is a great plus, because I work at different places at desks of different heights. - It is silent compared to how fans sound. - I always use it at max cooling level but you can adjust it if that's what you need. - It has proved to be sturdy, I have been using it for 2-3 years now. And I'm not a light user. - I am not using the lights, I'm a little bit sensitive to that, but I guess they are likable. - It is not heavy and it is comfortable. - It is versatile, I have used it as a book support or food tray at times. Unless you want it to cook for you, it's 10/10. I bought one for work, too.

Very Durable for my MSI
Had this since December 2023 and it's still running well with my MSI laptop. Now looking to get one for my Alienware wince the fan I had for it broke in under a year. Only flaw is that the purple color died out about a year ago but the other colors are just fine. I also dont like that the fan stays on unless I unplug it. But hey it's been working fine for over 2 years so the brand is dependable. And keeps my laptop cool.

Decent for its purpose
I recently purchased this laptop cooler and have been using it for a little while. I use a MSI GP66 Leopard laptop which I have had some issues when it comes to overheating. Overall, this cooler has functioned as it should without any major issues. However, there is one aspect of the cooler that I have found to be a bit problematic - the noise. The cooler is designed to keep my laptop from overheating by drawing in cool air from the bottom and expelling hot air from the back. It does this very effectively, and I have noticed a significant difference in the temperature of my laptop when using the cooler. However, at high settings, the fans on the cooler can get quite loud. It's not unbearable, but it can be a bit annoying if I'm trying to work in a quiet environment. Despite this issue with noise, I am still fairly satisfied with the cooler. It's lightweight and portable, and it's easy to set up and use. It also seems to be well-constructed and has held up well so far. It took me forever to find this out, but in order to turn the RGB lights off, you need to hold the light button down until it turns off. Whereas the power button for the fans themselves is instant. Overall, I would say that this laptop cooler is a good value for the price. It performs as advertised and has helped to keep my laptop running smoothly. However, the noise at high settings is something to be aware of if you are sensitive to that sort of thing, assuming mine isn't just a one off.

This is a FAN-tastic cooling pad!
Like the pun? Seriously, this is a SUPERB unit. And it's not just for gamers. I'm returning the other cooling pads I bought in favor of this one. It has a powerful fan with different power levels and lighting choices. There's no doubt of this unit's ability to cool down a laptop. it's perfectly sized for a 17" laptop, or a 15,6" laptop, plus a cellphone next to it if that needs to cool off, too. Sure, it's a bit pricier than its competitors, but your laptop is way pricier and you'll want to protect it from overheating and frying the electronics. Most times a cooling pad isn't needed, but if one is needed to extend the life of your laptop, this beats all the wimpy ones. It's definitely the one to get. Hmmm, I may want to consider getting another to place under my modem and routers :) Update: I've had this for a few weeks. I really like that I can adjust the display angle--that comes in handy when on the couch or lounging bedside. When using my 15.6" laptop I've been able to place my cellphone next to the laptop platform to cool it off. I was about to toss the box when I noticed I forgot this came with a ledge to hold a cellphone upright. I have 2 cellphones--one with an otter-type box and a slim cellphone--neither one fit into the ledge, but that isn't a deal breaker. Also, if planning on keeping it in a bedroom, it is necessary to turn it off to avoid being awakened by the stream of multi-colored LED-type lights--again, not a deal breaker since the light activity would prompt a user to turn off the pad when not in use and minimize electricity use. I'm still happy with it. P.S. I held off buying another for my modem and router--my ISP is providing me with a new modem and router so that may end need to have the second cooling pad.

How you use it matters
I've noticed several review say that this item does do a good job during normal use, but not so much gaming. This is both true and misleading. TL;DR, when flat (not elevated using the built-in bar stand), there isn't enough of a gap in the front of the device - which is the ONLY opening at the bottom - to allow enough air in; you must either elevate it, place it on an uneven/partially open surface, or modify the base to allow air flow in if you DON'T use the elevation bar. If you have sufficient room underneath, you will get 10+ degrees cooler even when gaming. Longer: I bought this to be able to travel with for cooling my MSI gaming laptop; it worked well enough, but when I settled more into my home office, I began noticing uncomfortable temps with more demanding games. This led me to repaste everything, which helped a bit, but the temps were still high. However, I was leaving the thing flat instead of propped using the elevation bar because my office cat likes to snooze on it while I work; I never changed this while gaming, and just recently finally had an idea of the issue. I propped it, fired up Cinebench, and my scores jumped considerably while my CPU stayed around 70-75 instead of climbing up to 90+ and getting into thermal throttling. Fortunately, I have a laptop stand that has a 2-inch gap between the main platform and the mouse area, so I just moved the pad over to allow more air into it. It's not as good as using the stand to elevate the whole, but still keeps it cool enough to game. If you have a dremel or similar tool, you could easily carve some arches into the base to allow greater air flow without compromising the structure. And since nobody seems to have said it directly, to turn off the RGB lights entirely, press and hold the lights button (right next to the power button) for a few seconds and they'll all turn off. The fans are quiet enough to leave them at max full time. Overall it's good enough price/performance that I bought one for my work laptop and another specifically for traveling.

Great Product
For starters you *CAN* turn the RGB lights off, the only thing unaffected by the lights turning off is the fan lights but they aren't super visible outside of the stand. So, if you're an intelligent human being and actually read the manual on how to not be brain dead you shouldn't have any problems. Otherwise, it is super useful and customizable for height and the RGB settings are nice. One thing is the phone stand is kind of clunky to use but not like it's a huge problem because well I don't use it, and the RGB setting reset if your laptop turns off or if it's unplugged, again not a big deal you just have to click the button and it will be good. The fans are very quiet on max setting, and I mean QUIET, like you can feel them running and doing their job, but they are super quiet, and it has cooled down my laptop significantly keeping it 4-10 degrees below what it would normally run at. While it isn't major it still does what it is intended. It mainly keeps my GPU and CPU from overheating and keeping it at the recommended safe zones for gaming. The height adjustment is helpful in general for the laptop itself and its also kind of nice to be able to look up than more down. My laptop is also heavy, it's one of the Alienware laptops and HE IS A BIG 15 inch BOY. This thing can withstand the weight of the laptop and my constantly RAGE typing on it, so it is very sturdy. If you're looking for something simple and to bump your laptop down a few degrees into the safe zones and otherwise helpful, this is it!! Also, for those worried, it comes packaged safely and securely so the only reason it would break on transit is because your mailman has beef with you.

Great for Gaming!
I had been looking for a good cooling pad for my laptop that wouldn’t break the bank and came across this one. I did see there are some mixed reviews but decided to take the chance and I LOVE IT! First, the light is really cool and easy feature. If I really don’t want them on, I can simply press the button and they shut off. You can also cycle between different colors and patterns. My boyfriend and I were playing with it for a good while after opening. One of the biggest things on reviews for cooling pads is the sound and cooling aspect. Personally, I didn’t care too much if the pad had loud fans simply because I can just turn up my games sound to cover it or wear headphones. I did want good fans that would be able to cool my laptop nicely while I play. And it does. Obviously, you need to provide adequate air flow in order for the hot air to escape and you do this by adjusting the stand. You can also choose what level you want to set the fan to (how hard they work). Either way, my laptop stayed nice and cool while I gamed for hours. The sound wasn’t bad either. It was lent whisper quiet (since I mainly had it on its highest setting) but it wasn’t freakishly loud either. Just enough to wear I can hear it work. All in all, im so glad i found this laptop. I love it and recommend it to anyone who wants a really good pad without costing an arm and a leg.

Very, very tiny USB ports
Either mine is defective or no one else cares but, the USB ports are just unusable. Laptop stands like this typically come with 2 USB ports to compensate for the port they use on your laptop. I don't know why, the port on this are cut so small, ONLY the wire it comes with will fit comfortably. So no, you can't plug in your mouse, keyboard, or whatever slot you were hoping to compensate for. Unless you don't mind damaging both the product and your USB just trying to fit it in. Other then that, the laptop stand works as intended. I'd say it runs a little small, I'm using an MSI Raider GE75 and the clips that keep the laptop steady are a little too small for it. So if you have a high profile laptop, say over 1 inch thick, this won't hold your laptop too well. For me, it does the job mostly. The lights are good enough, fans are really discreet in color and noise. Honestly, I don't this will cool your laptop for gaming much however they are noticeably more powerful than the cheap stuff. A fun laptop stand, not ideal for gaming and very poorly designed USB ports that only suit the wire the product is shipped with. Height is reasonable, not too high or too low however the clips are so short, I don't think my laptop can stand at the largest height without risk of falling off. I don't think they should make the clips bigger either, going forward because some laptops need small clips like this. If anything, i'd install substitute clips, and keep the small clips. Since you can fold them down, it would be easy to have two pairs of clips for whatever you need. Large laptop, use large clips. Small profile thin little macbook, use the small clips. Alas, maybe in the future. The phone holder is as expected, mostly useless. It surprisingly fits my Pixel XL with it's fat case and it would fit even bigger. But it's very fragile and while large enough to fit the biggest phones, it won't hold their weight much. So the cellphone holder will sink down to the bottom. It should've been made with some aluminum or some form composite lightweight metals to withstand the weight of large phones. The little UI in the front is very hard to see at night, it lights up sure but you need to shine a flashlight to even read the icon buttons on the sides which do not light up like the rest of the product. The most dire change is these ridiculous USB ports that are basically nonfunctional outside plugging in your laptop stand. Starting from 0 out of 10 -1: weak phone holder -1/10 -1: faulty USB ports -2/10 -1: difficult to see buttons that don't light up -3/10 -1: only small clips, bad for thick laptops -4/10 +3: good RGBs where present -1/10 +4: reasonable height 3/10 +3: more or less functional fans 6/10 6 out of 10

not bad but not great
ok so a few things i can pick at, i know its pandemic time, things are slow all round. but im not impressed by the lateness of receiving this item, it took 14 days just for the processing of the order, then took another 3 weeks to deliver. ive ordered other items from overseas during rona, and they never took this long. 0 stars for shipping. i know this has nothing to do with the product, but it does with this seller. lets move on on the whole it pretty good. the display im not really a fan, it fels like an old cheap lcd watch from the 80s that you have to view at a perfect 90 degree top-down angle just to see whats on the screen. the rgb is alright, would have been 100% awesome if it was able to sync with all the major brands that have rgb software, eg: razer, aorus, aura sync etc. the buttons are pretty firm to turn on and change settings, i get why they might be that way so as to avoid accidental presses, a touch screen would have been a welcomed feature instead. build is fairly solid, but it would nicer if the underside edges where smoothed over, they have a real sharp edge that will catch you off guard when sliding the top-side of your fingers underneath it last thing is the fan speed, or the thrust/wind/force, whatever you wanna call it, the 4 small fans fell fairly strong for the max output, but the 2 larger fans feel a bit less then what the smaller fans push out. it still cools ok, but i feel the it could do better if the fans where either a better quality, or a stronger blade angle to really push more air. the fan noise is ok, again there are some pc fans that can run nearly full tilt and still be whisper quiet. oh as for the phone holder arm, i use my laptop on my bedside alot, and having an arm sticking out of the side would probably get hooked on a cable or my hand while fiddling around with cables or looking through draws. plus i have chunky case on my phone, so i never used it. but i do like the idea. all in all, its not bad but not the greatest "be all, end all" cooler.

Solid Cooling Pad with Adjustable Stand & RGB
If you want an affordable cooling pad with RGB lighting, adjustable angle/height, and solid airflow, this is a great pick especially for gaming and extended laptop sessions. It’s not a pro-level thermal solution, but it definitely feels like an upgrade from just putting your laptop flat on a desk. The pad has six quiet fans (four small + two large) that deliver good airflow and help keep laptop temperatures down during gaming or heavy workloads. I did see a drop in heat compared with running the laptop on its own, especially under load, which helps performance stay consistent. I love that you can choose from several height levels, so it doubles as an ergonomic laptop stand too — great for typing or watching videos comfortably. There’s also a small phone holder if you want your screen in view while you work.

Absoulutely amazing!
TopMate C11 Laptop Cooling Pad – Review This cooling pad is absolutely amazing! The fans are super quiet, and the airflow keeps my laptop nice and cool. The RGB lighting works perfectly, but since I’m not a big fan of RGB in general, I just turned it off - easy and no problem at all. The overall build quality is excellent, especially at this price point. It feels sturdy, works exactly as advertised, and gives that satisfying feeling of making the right choice. No regrets here - I 100% recommend it!

Good and not good in the item
The item is very nice, my laptop fits with 16" size. fans are all working very well and the buttons too. RGB light is very bright and nice colors, you can choose mode of lighting effects. I have issue/problem with the lights in the fan which is the color blue. after 2 days, 2/6 fan lights were already not working.
