the extra poles come in handy
The first time I saw the Neso tent was at the beach in California. It stood out among the throngs of umbrellas, canopies and pop up tents. It had 2 poles and was set up in a "lean to" style looking like a cool blue wing. The tent seemed to handle the wind quite well and the sand bags kept it firmly rooted in the sand. After seeing more of them around all summer I bought a red Neso Grande with pineapple design which makes it very easy to identify among all the other tents and umbrellas. The stretchy UV fabric and the lightweight poles make it easy to adjust to wind and sun conditions and the anchoring lines are versatile and can be anchored with stakes, clips or used as sand bags (or filled w/rocks). The tent is very lightweight to carry and comes with a carrying bag. The Neso tent comes with 2 poles. I ordered 2 additional so I can set it up in a variety of ways at the park or the beach. Because it packs up quickly, is small and very light to carry, I keep it in my car and we use it all the time... shade at kids soccer games, concert in the park, day at the beach or a picnic on the lawn. I watched the video that shows tips for easy set up and how to tilt it into the wind. Love it.

Buy the extra set of poles
My tent came with two poles and I debated buying the extra set. I am glad I did. The extra set allowed for more head room under the tent. It also gave off more shade. The picture I attached to my review was taken at 9am. If we didn't have the extra poles we would have had very little shade.I have seen reviews about the poles bending. I think people are trying to dig the poles down into the sand and that is what causes the poles to bend. You do not need to dig the poles into the sand. The pressure of the tent will keep them in place. They poles held up well. Once we got home from our vacation I washed everything off and packed it all away. The poles did not show any signs of wear or rust.

Extra Poles DO NOT match Poles in Kit or PICTURE
I was going to buy a Red Suricata after reading the reviews that it came with FOUR poles. I decided on the Neso because My Wife liked the White Shade and I could order extra Poles. Looking at the picture of the extra Poles. It showed to be in 5 sections. As you can see they are only 4 Sections. The tall ones came with the shade the short ones were the extra Poles I purchased. I don’t understand why they would show them to be bigger when they aren’t. Why would you want shorter poles then the ones that come with the shade. The Red Suricata came with four exact size poles. I am not happy with this. Just a heads up if you are looking to buy extra Poles. THEY ARE NOT THE SAME SIZE as per the picture or the poles that came with shade.

Light and fast
I didn't read carefully and purchased these, thinking they were the same size as the poles coming with my tent - they're about 12 inches shorter, but as it turns out - that's OK. It means my tent is a little higher on one side, and I can angle it to catch the wind better. These are aluminum poles - they aren't sturdy, but they are sufficient for the purpose intended. I already have a broken one - but it was from an ATV running over one of the guy lines and putting an grossly high load on the pole. (Now I mark out an area several feet away from the guy lines and don't allow vehicles in my 'no fly" zone). These are perfect for the purpose of holding up the Neso fly/tent, I probably won't use them for anything else. They deploy and stow quickly and easily, they fit easily into the Neso supplied tent bag.

Same as Neso poles that come with the purchase of a Canopy
We ordered this to have back-up poles and to allow more diversity when setting up our Neso shade canopy. They match the originals that come with the purchase of a canopy. The poles easily snap together with little effort and seem to be extremely sturdy. The only downside is the small plastic boots that they put on the bottom of the poles. We had our shade canopy up in some very uneven terrain and the corners of the plastic bent dramatically and even broke on some of them. Hence why these are receiving the 4 star review vs. the 5 star review. A little bit of thicker/higher quality plastic and I'd have no issues whatsoever with these.

This is my honest review
First I wan to say this is my honest review of the product. I used this everyday for a week at the beach in NC..I loved the thing! It did everything it said it would do. The set up was super easy and it was really light to carry. The only trouble I had with it was you have to put A LOT of sand in it to make it sturdy (found out the hard way by having it blow down). When you think you have enough sand in it...put more in.The product is very well made so I give it 5 stars for that. The poles worked well and never bent or buckled under load. The only bad things I can say is:Fist I think it’s about $20 overpriced . And second, You do get sun ( like getting sun burned sun) under it. It does NOT block the sun 100%. But that didn’t bother me because I wanted a tan anyway. All and all I am VERY pleased with my purchase except I think it’s a little to expensive. I did purchase the extra poles and that worked out perfect too. We had all 4 poles up the whole time and had to adjust poles and bags maybe twice the whole day . I put shade up at 7:30 am and took it down about 7-8 pm every day . And one last note. It’s kind of hard to fold up and get back in the bag... it could stand to be a little bigger.

Doesn’t work well on a windy day
Purchased the 11x11 NesoPros: easy to set up and lightweight to carryCons: definitely not made for a windy day. I wish I had brought the extra poles with us on this trip I had purchased as 2 were not sufficient. Our Texas beaches tend to be windy and this just didn’t work well. We had also brought a canopy shade in addition to the Neso so we draped one side over the edge of the canopy to reduce the wind effects on the Neso. I also thought the 50+ Uvp was enough but I burned some underneath without sunscreen. I recently had several skin cancers diagnosed and removed, some serious, so I’m having to adjust big time at my “happy place” the beach.

worked fine and help up well when some fairly strong gusts ...
Used with a Otentik sun shade, worked fine and help up well when some fairly strong gusts of wind came through. My only minor gripe is the foot design. I thought having a square base would be good for support, but it makes it very difficult to stick it into the sand for extra support. They were slightly longer than the poles included with the Otentik so that is a plus for me.

Necesarios aunque algo caros

consigliato come complemento o ricambio

Work well!
Strong, work well to prop up a tarp on the fly. A bit short, but exactly as described.
