Men's Beard Softener, 100ml

I’ve been using King C. Gillette Soft Beard Balm daily, and it’s genuinely impressive—especially for the price. If you want a beard that feels soft, looks tidy, and doesn’t feel greasy or heavy, this balm does the job extremely well. 🧔 What I Liked ✔ Noticeable softness within minutes My beard used to feel dry and slightly wiry. After applying this balm, it becomes noticeably smoother and more comfortable to touch. ✔ Very easy to apply The texture is creamy and spreads evenly without clumping. It absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave residue or weigh the beard down. ✔ Pleasant, subtle scent Masculine but not overpowering—ideal for daily use and won’t clash with cologne. ✔ Helps tame stray hairs This isn’t a styling balm, but it does a great job keeping flyaways under control so the beard looks more groomed. 👌 Good to Know • A small amount goes a long way • Works perfectly as a daily leave-in conditioner • Can also be used as a short conditioning treatment and rinsed off for extra softness • Don’t expect strong hold—this is about conditioning, not styling 🏁 Final Verdict If your goal is a beard that looks cleaner, feels softer, and is genuinely pleasant to touch, this balm delivers. It’s quick to use, smells good, and makes daily grooming effortless. Excellent value for money—and one I’ll happily keep repurchasing.

I've been using this beard softener for a while now, and it's one of the best beard products I've tried. It leaves my beard feeling noticeably softer, smoother and much easier to manage without making it feel heavy or greasy like many beard oils do. The fragrance is another big plus. The blend of sandalwood, cedar, bergamot, cardamom and mandarin gives it a fresh, masculine scent that's noticeable without being overpowering. A little goes a long way, so the tube lasts a good amount of time, and it's easy to work through the beard after washing. It absorbs quickly, keeps my beard looking healthy, and doesn't leave any oily residue on my hands or clothes. If you're looking for something that softens and conditions your beard without the greasy feel of traditional beard oils, I'd definitely recommend giving this a try.

Great product and the only balm I use. Smells great. And helps with tangles in the beard. Great to add to whatever your daily routine is.

Hubby has been using this brand of beard balm, beard wash and beard oil for donkey's years! He has tried so many but keeps coming back to this one. It smells great and the tub lasts for a good amount of time. Keep an eye on deals as there is a kit, containing all the items on here on sale every now and then. Boots and Superdrug also do promotions from time to time.

Great product great price

The product is not bad, hence why 3 stars, but it leaves a horrible boot polish smell lingering on the face so I cannot recommend this product. I was surprised to see people saying it smells good, I honestly don't know how anyone can have that opinion. It does work however, but it doesn't last long, in my opinion you are better off just soaking your beard in water for a while and then adding a beard oil or almond oil.

(I bought this for my other half, so this is his review) I have a medium-length beard and started using this mainly to deal with dryness and stiffness. After a short time using it, my beard is noticeably softer and easier to manage, especially after washing. What I really like is how balanced it feels. A small amount goes a long way and it absorbs well, so my beard doesn’t feel greasy or weighed down. It softens the hair without leaving residue, which makes brushing and styling much easier. The scent is another big plus, it smells clean and pleasant but not overpowering. You notice it when you apply it, but it doesn’t linger too strongly or clash with my aftershave. Best points: Softens beard hair effectively Works well for medium beard length Not greasy or heavy Pleasant, subtle scent Tip for Best Result, apply right after a shower when your beard is slightly damp, that’s when it spreads best and locks in the most moisture. Overall, this does exactly what I want from a beard softener: it improves the feel of my beard without fuss or strong fragrance. I’ll definitely keep using it.
