Better than electric
Works awesome. Much faster and easier than an electric trimmer. Just a few squeezes and all the hair is gone. Super simple and easy to clean. VERY well made, this is built like an old fashioned tool made to last a lifetime. I will never buy an electric trimer again, this will last my lifetime and a while longer. Just buy one and try it out, you won't be disappointed. Soooo much better than dealing with a big bulky electric trimmer that always needs charging and dies when you need it most.

Excellent Nose Hair Trimmer!
This actually works, and it works very well. I have tried many different trimers some with batteries and some that just required rotation but none of them are very efficient. Size is small and compact. Weight is light. Excellent value for money. Works quickly. Easy to pack for travel. Best trimmer I have ever used. Use only one hand. I strongly recommend!

It does what it says is does.
It works as the electric one, but this manual one is useful when batteries aren't available. It got 4 stars because the scissors will always do a better job. Nevertheless, it works.

Better than I thought.
I've been anxious about my nose hairs and looking for options. Most cheap electric I've found either doesn't work or just straight up blowing the hairs upwards that cause me irritation in the long run. This is very primitive and good to keep when done nice and slowly. The size and packaging is very good. It even has its own case making it portable and premium at the same time. Side note: make sure you avoid any moisture, whether it's water or nose stuff. Otherwise, it will pull and not work properly. Will add to my weekly routine.

Trims well but can pull
Product does work and leaves nostrils clean, but pulls at atleast one hair per trimming. Maybe my nose hairs are like bx cables, heh-heh.

A Manual Marvel for Unwanted Hairs
A Manual Marvel for Unwanted Hairs Rogue hairs seem to appear out of nowhere, specifically the ones that decide your nose and ears are prime real estate. Dealing with them can be... awkward, uncomfortable, and sometimes even painful with the wrong tool. I've tried battery-powered trimmers that died at inconvenient times, scissors that felt risky, and tweezers that were just plain agonizing. I was looking for a simple, reliable, and effective solution that didn't involve batteries or a power outlet. This ROYAL manual nose hair trimmer, the "Birdie," seemed almost too simple to work, but its old-school approach has genuinely impressed me. This little gadget is a testament to elegant design and solid construction. It's entirely metal, feels substantial and well-made in your hand, and there are no batteries or cords to worry about. The manual operation is incredibly straightforward: you gently insert the tip and squeeze the handles. That's it. The key is the patented mechanism with those twelve dual-edged blades. Instead of a spinning blade that can sometimes catch and pull, this trimmer seems to snip the hairs cleanly. The first few times, I was cautious, expecting a painful tug, but it was surprisingly comfortable. It gets close enough to effectively trim the unwanted hairs without irritating the sensitive skin inside your nose or ear. I love the simplicity and reliability. It works every single time, no matter where I am or if I remembered to charge something. It's waterproof and easy to clean – just rinse it under water. The fact that it's made in Korea with a focus on durability is also a big plus; it feels like something that will last for years, unlike some flimsy plastic alternatives I've encountered. While it might take a couple of squeezes to get all the hairs in a particular spot, the control you have with a manual trimmer is fantastic. You can go at your own pace and target specific areas precisely. It's become a quick and painless part of my grooming routine. If you're tired of battery-powered trimmers that lose power, or if you prefer a simple, durable, and effective tool for dealing with nose and ear hair, this ROYAL manual trimmer is a fantastic choice. It's a manual marvel that gets the job done comfortably and reliably.

Not as durable as it seems, and more cumbersome to use than normal electric trimmers
TL;DR: Slow, annoying to use and has a spring that breaks after a year of use (1-2x a month usage). Look elsewhere if you want something durable and easy to use. I purchased this nose hair trimmer after my last nose hair trimmer stopped working. I had previously used a string of cheap electric nose hair trimmers, none of which lasted longer than a year before they started to have issues. These issues ranged from just having a ton of corrosion on the battery terminals to simply not working, even with fresh batteries. I was hoping that this manual trimmer would be the solution to my string of nose hair trimmers only lasting 1 year but here I am writing this review a year later with a broken nose hair trimmer. I do not recommend purchasing this set of nose hair trimmers. They require SIGNIFICANTLY more time than electric trimmers to do the same job. This was annoying, but I figured it was worth the trade off not having to worry about changing batteries and having a durable trimmer. What I found is that the main portion of this trimmer is quite durable, but the metal spring that returns the blades back to the starting position is not. The spring is quite flimsy and broke after a year of using it 1 or 2 times a month. You can buy a replacement for $3 from the ROYAL company, but it is not worth the hassle of actually using the trimmer. I personally don't want to buy a new spring every year for these nose hair trimmers as they are slow and are very annoying to use compared to an electric trimmer. I don't want this to be an ad, but I did purchase the Wahl Groomsman Rechargeable Precision Trimmer instead of buying a spring. So far, the Wahl is the best nose hair trimmer I have used. It has ergonomic grips and works much better, resulting in a quicker trim than with this manual unit. Also, the Wahl has a 3 year limited warranty. I've had the same set of Wahl hair trimmers for almost a decade at this point so I have high hopes for the nose hair trimmers as well. (ETA 8 months in and still going strong with the Wahl. I'll update if it dies in another 4 months or so)

manual nose trimmer
Finally a product imported that is made very well. Works better than any electric nose clipper I've tried for my husband in a wheelchair. Got it in 2 days, less than $15. Excellent!
