I recently purchased the uni USB C Hub USB 3.0 Slim for my M1 MacBook Pro, and I'm absolutely thrilled with its performance. As someone who regularly uses a variety of accessories such as my keyboard, mouse, and headset, this hub has made my life so much easier. One of the things I love about this hub is how slim and compact it is. It's small enough to fit in my pocket, and I can easily take it with me wherever I go. Despite its small size, it's incredibly sturdy and well-made, which gives me confidence that it will last for a long time. Another thing I love about this hub is how stylish it looks. The aluminum finish gives it a sleek, modern look that perfectly complements my MacBook Pro. Overall, I would highly recommend the uni USB C Hub USB 3.0 Slim to anyone looking for a reliable and stylish hub for their MacBook Pro. It's made my life so much easier, and I can't imagine going back to using separate dongles for each of my accessories.

USB-C is the way forward but the move from the larger USB A port peripherals will take some time hence my need for a small and simple hub with multiple USB3 ports that would match my Space Grey Macbook Pro. This one has 4 USB A ports and ticks all the boxes, price included. It handles well and stays cool with two USB 3 flash drives being continuously accessed for hours. As expected it does get warm when drives are continuously accessed but there is nothing new there really. The build quality is great with a mostly aluminium body, with black plastic sides, of which at one end is a none removable quality braided USB-C cable, about 15cm in length. Not quite long enough to avoid dangling down on a tower form factor desktop PC but perfect for a laptop sat on a desk. In total for the cable and body is about 28cm in length. I've used it on a 2017 15" Apple Macbook Pro (Touchbar) running MacOS Catalina, as well as on Windows 10 via Bootcamp on the Macbook. Tested fine on both and recognising the Flash drives and a USB Optical mouse without issue. For the aesthetic detail orientated Apple fans the grey colour is not quite the Space Grey of a Macbook, but a darker grey, a lot closer to the Space Grey of the Apple Magic Keyboard. (Picture comparison attached) The single discreet white power LED is a nice touch, might be too dim for some but I like the clean and unobtrusive look. Overall very pleased and for the price you can't really go wrong!

This works really well on my Mac Mini, the speeds seem fine and the connection was reliable. Physically it feels really solid, made out of metal with a good solid braided cable and connector.

I have bought two of these and while I find they are absolutely brilliant, after a few months I find it stops working. The second one I have bought now looks like it is on its way out. Im a graphic designer and use a few external hard drives so needed this for my MacBook in order to access them. When I first bought both they worked great, everything would show up on my desktop straight away, I could even plug in my mouse. Now I have to wait a long time for the hard drive to connect, sometimes the mouse stops working and right now I have spent the past half hour trying to connect everything. I know its definitely the extension port because this has happened exactly the same, TWICE. It does come with a little card in the box that says if you have any problems then the company who makes them will replace it. Im yet to try this and see if they actually will so may try and update this once I've tried. Either way very frustrating when it starts to play up. Affordable and like I said, works well to begin with. If its continuously plugged in then im sure it would last longer, but for those with laptops be warned. UPDATE: I contacted the company and they were very quick to respond, had to answer a few questions regarding the issues I was having but ultimately resulted in sending a new product. Showed up within a day and works well. Satisfied with their customer service and I'll update and let you all know if there are any issues with the new product.

This is a marvellous device (created for the purpose of connecting other devices with now defunct connections to Apple devices with now new connections), and I for one cannot believe how small it is. When I ordered it I envisaged something about six feet long and at least a couple wide (while I have no concept at all of depth). I pictured to big delivery drivers (non-British, of course) lugging it up the path, and couldn’t disguise my amazement when only one big delivery driver (non-British, of course) carried it with ease to my letter box. I’m not all that old (89), but honestly the stuff they can do these days. My mother was blown away, and couldn’t wait to show it to Grandma. I now have all my doodads and what-have-yous connected to my Mac and can continue producing some of the worst electronic music this side of Sleaford Mods, whoever they are

So far so good. Only had it a few days and it does what I bought it for. Plugs into the port on the back of my new Mac and I have 2 USB devices plug into it, both of which work perfectly well. I will have other peripherals to connect in due course and expect them to work too.

Wireless keyboard dongle was a bit notchy plugging in, but I will not be plugging and unplugging much, if at all. 3 less things plugged into the laptop, with the 120cm cable going to the device supported in an 'under desk cable tidy'. I am using this hub for: + Logi HD1080p webcam + Logitech Pro X Lightspeed Wireless Gaming Headset + Logitech MK295 Silent Wireless Mouse & Keyboard dongle + iPhone lightning lead I was a bit concerned about reviewers whom suffered Wi-Fi or bandwidth issues. Speedtest.net over Wi-Fi with camera running and high res audio over headphones seems to indicate no issues with bandwidth nor Wi-Fi interference. But it is only 1 test. Apart from an old iPhone (acting as an internal webserver), no device is taking any significant power. I did not expect to charge anything with this, I selected the product with the expectation of good data bandwidth. Currently it is running cold. Aesthetically the laptop on desk looks much less cluttered. It is also much quicker and easier to remove and return to desk.

Purchased to use with my Mac that only has USB-C and it works great! Has more than enough ports for attaching my mouse and Cricut machine. Connected smoothly and nice and compact.

Habe das Gerät seit heute in Benutzung. Es ist schlicht aufgebaut, ein USB-Hub mit 4 USB Anschlüssen und einem Alu-Gehäuse, womit es sich von anderen Plastik-USB-Hubs abhebt und sich wertig in der Handhabung anfühlt. Ich benutze es für mein iPad Pro 11 Zoll 2020er Modell und konnte bisher keine Probleme mit der Kompatibilität feststellen. Dateien werden prompt geöffnet, auch mit mehreren USB-Sticks gibt es keine Probleme. Kabellänge sind vom Anschlag des Hubs bis zur Spitze des Type-C-Connectors etwa 17,5 cm. Ich finde die Länge gut getroffen, nicht übermäßig lang, und nicht zu kurz, sodass es stören würde. Um die Dicke beurteilen zu können, habe ich den Apple Pencil 2 daneben gestellt und seitlich fotografiert. Auch kann man die Dicke mithilfe des iPads abschätzen. Es ist wenige Millimeter dicker als das iPad. Der Type-C-Stecker hat freundlicherweise die gleiche Dicke wie das iPad, sodass es angeschlossen perfekt aussieht, was ich bemerkenswert finde. Dünner hätte man das Hub auch auch schwer machen können, da es mindestens so dick wie die USB Anschlüsse sein muss. Da ich es nur seit heute in Benutzung habe, kann ich nicht allzu viel zur Langzeit-Haltbarkeit sagen. Uni ist jedoch nicht nur für den freundlichen Kundenservice bekannt, sondern auch dafür, dass die eine Lebenslange Garantie auf ihre Geräte anbieten. Infolgedessen greife ich persönlich, wenn möglich, daher zu Uni... Wer billig kauft, kauft zweimal... oder dreimal... oder viermal... aber nicht mit Uni... Hah, Universal, wie der Name das schon impliziert...
