Does the 30ft cable draw too much power and fry the source electronics?

An HDMI cable is a signal cable, not a powered cable, so it does not draw power. The length does not matter.

I have new 20 ft. cable. TV screen goes black for a few seconds ever so often. Connections are fine. Is cable faulty?
