Is this okay for dwarf hamster

Yes, but not as a complete diet; it has too much protein. I recommend using Higgins Sunburst hamster food with a few pieces of this mixed in. 1 tablespoon of Higgins every three days.

for a dwarf hamster how much of this should i feed mixed with higgins sunburst?

I feed my hamster about 2 tbsp and some veggies

Is this one pound or two? The product information says it's only a pound but the description says it's two pounds.

Hi, according to the Amazon link you provided, the web-page shows the package to be TWO POUNDS. Look at the back of the package image, at the UPC code. The weight is clearly printed there according to your linked page. You may want to check your link again, if you feel unsure. Best luck to you.

Is this mandatory for a hamster (s) diet?

No it is NOT mandatory for a hamster's diet but, it IS very good for them. I use a mixture of seed-feed, like Vita Craft Dwarf formula, AND Mazuri pellets. That, and some small bits of fresh vegetables. I've had dwarf's live up to, and a few just past 3-years. best luck to you and your little one's!
