InteVision Four Position Support Pillow (20.5" x 8" x 4.5") - Provides Best Support for Sleeping on Side or Back - Helps Relieve Back Pain

This pillow is just the right height for me to use under my knees when sleeping on my back. Many bolster-type pillows are too high for me. (I am 5 '2" tall.) It takes the pressure off the lower spine where I had surgery and helps keep back pain, sciatica, and leg spasms to a minimum. I was using a larger, heavier pillow that I had to fight with and twist too much to get into place. This one is light and easy to move around. It has a removable, navy blue cotton cover that can be washed. And it cost much less than others I saw online and in medical equipment stores.I also sometimes use this pillow between my knees when sleeping on my side, but find it not quite as comfy for me in that position. It is just a little too thick to be perfect while side sleeping. I still do use it, though, because it is just easier to use one pillow, rather than two, when turning from back to side during the night.

After reading some of the negative reviews I almost didn't buy this pillow. The price was so good, I decided to try it anyway. I'm so glad I did. I love this thing. I'm normally a side sleeper; but sometimes I like to sleep on my stomach or back. Back and knee problems have prevented this entirely until I received a ComfiLife Orthopedic Knee Pillow for Sciatica Relief, Back Pain, Leg Pain, Pregnancy, Hip and Joint Pain - 100% Memory Foam Wedge Contour as a gift. The knee pillow is really great too. For short periods of time I used it as a support to lie on my side and stomach and it helped a lot, but was kind of small and awkward for very long. But, it gave me hope and that's why I bought this, I slept all night on my back! It's firm without being hard and provides excellent support behind knees (for back sleeping) or ankles (for stomach sleeping) .The packaging was a little time consuming to open because it's squished so tightly with no air and a lot of plastic and tape. I was afraid of cutting the pillow. Once I got it open the thing expanded like crazy instantly. The slipcover fits well and was easy enough to get on. It's kind of wrinkly, but, not a biggie for me.

I use it while sleeping, I’m a tosser Turner kind of guy. And it works well for intimate moments when you need to prop things up a little bit higher to get that right angle.

It would be nice if the pillow were slightly larger, but the firmness and shape more than met my expectations. Like another reviewer, I use it under my bad knee when I am in bed or otherwise lying prone. Before using this pillow, I usually found myself rotating my hip joint outward to keep from over-extending my knee, which over time has caused pain and stiffness in my hip joint as well. Now with this pillow, I'm able to keep my tag straight with comfort. After using it all night, it still pops right back into shape the next day; no flattening here. (Not yet, at least, but nothing lasts forever.) At times, I also use it behind my head while watching TV or browsing the net. I suspect it could also be used for better positioning during sex, depending on where and how it's placed. (Thank goodness for the cover which is easily removable for cleaning, right?!)Because of my great experience with this pillow, I recently ordered one for my father who had had surgery on his cervical spinal cord near his neck. He was having a difficult time keeping his head in a position that wasn't painful, but after he received this pillow, he's been so much happier. Now he can rest and recover as easily and painlessly as possible. I have been using a different type of support to assist with a hip problem caused by a fall. The other item is also made by InteVision and is called a Knee Pillow. Unfortunately, that particular item is not currently available and unknown when/if it will be available in the future.The Four Position Support Pillow is too firm for my needs.

Great pillow. Little more firm than expected but not an issue. Works great between knees as well as under back of knees. Good quality. Smell was less than other brands. I recommend.

The pillow was much thinner/flatter than pictured. It is not domed at all and as a result the pillow case is too big. I waited to see if it would expand after it was removed from the packaging but it has not. I do not recommend purchasing this product.

Was very happy with the bolster from the minute I got it. The smooth cotton cover didn't have any irriratining seams, and the pillow itself has two layers of different foam core, so it gives enough for neck and prone back use, but is plenty firm for knees and upright back use. I had a minor issue with the pillowcase I wasn't sure I could effectively fix myself, and contacted the seller. They were very responsive, and when they weren't able to source a replacement case, let me know they have sent out a replacement unit. Very glad, as I am using this bolster post-operatively, and hunting down a workable case or replacement would be another task on an already too long list. Have fabric taped the zipper-case disunion to get me by until then.
