Bought this 13” Wide Platform TV Top Shelf for my mother-in-law’s room in a nursing home, and it worked out perfectly. We needed a safe, stable spot to place her dementia clock on top of the TV, and this did exactly that. It was easy to set up, adjusts well, and feels sturdy enough that we don’t worry about it sliding or tipping. The size is just right—not bulky, but enough space to hold what we need. Sometimes it’s the simple things that make a big difference, and this has been one of them. Highly recommend if you need a reliable little shelf solution!

bought this to put small dvd player on it works good but wish was a little more sturdy and had rubber on legs that extend down to grip tv a little better sometimes slides on tv when putting dvd in slot. other then that works good

Sooo great and no hassle to put on. Great value to for the price. Saves me sooo much space in my motorhome. Easy to put up and take down if needed. Adjustable and versatile to any tv.

These are exactly what they have described. I've got some Pops on them. I would refrain from putting anything you wouldn't call "light" on them.

Needing a top mount for my Infinity center channel speaker (8.5 lbs.), I was forced to go with this all-plastic, rather flimsy device because its depth (6.3 inches) was the only one large enough to accommodate the depth of my speaker---barely. Once adjusted for the weight (you have to compensate for considerable sag in the structure), the mount does do the job---again, barely. What is really needed here is a far sturdier, all-metal mount, 13 inches wide and 7 inches deep, for which I will continue to search, so that I can replace this one and feel a whole lot less nervous about the odds of my rather pricey speaker falling off of its perch.

I love this item. I ended up buying 2. its very useful if you have a flat screen tv and need something to mount a cable box or something and do not have a shelf. This will work great. Its very easy to install and the price is right.

So I rated it a 4 but it’s more of a 4.5 I would say. You just have to know what you’re getting here and this is a super simple, durable plastic shelf mount to place above your monitor or TV. It’s extremely lightweight; not super thick but wouldn’t say it’s super thin either. The way it mounts are two bars that stick out and touch the back of your monitor and holds the shelf in place by way of gravity. You can “lock it” into place by getting good tension against the back of your monitor and tightening down the knobs. Now, the whole locking gear mechanism is plastic. Everything is plastic. It still feels sturdy enough as long as you aren’t placing heavy items. Webcams, compact cameras, lights, and other similar sized electronic devices should be fine. A speaker or full size DSLR would probably be pushing the limit. Personally, I just have some lighter decor pieces on there for now and it works fine supporting them. Honestly, nothing wowed me about it, but I certainly didn’t feel like it was a cheap piece of plastic. It’s cheap in price and just works.

The legs were unable to withstand any weight even when the knobs were as tight as possible. I bought three of these types of shelves by different makers and this one was by far the worst one. Would not recommend at all, there are much better options out there

Discretely sits atop the flat screen to hold the cable box. You need to have a little bit of a frame around the screen for it to grip - but it works great and doesn't budge.
