Allowed me to sleep after ankle surgery!
After ankle surgery, my "walking" boot was impossible to sleepin. Still non-weightbearing, I was instructed to wear the boot during sleep, since I can't consciously protect my ankle, and when "walking" around on crutches, but could take it off if in an environment I could control. I had sores on my heel and the top of my foot from my splint for and the incisions on both sides of my ankle were still healing and very tender. My range of motion was highly limited and my foot was stuck in a very pointed position at first. I bought this boot to sleep in but still wear my actual boot when walking around. I can easily fit a cold pack or heated wrap inside this boot and the cords fit between the straps. This boot is lightweight and stays on if you move around or roll on your side. The padding reduces pressure on tender wounds but the shaft is still rigid enough to provide support for your ankle. I highly recommend this product but also encourage you to confirm with your doctor that this product is safe for you and your stage of healing.

100% worth buying !!
I believe this helped with my Planter Faciitus 100%. I wore it every night to bed for 2 months. It is soft and comfortable against your leg. I did add a face cloth underneath my foot to help it stay in place better. I feel this was the right one for me after looking at so many. The velcro straps work great and the material is soft against your skin, you do not feel the velcro at all. A+

Runs smaller than size chart, but a good product overall
First, want to say it’s a great product. I have 4 screws in my right foot after surgery to repair a triple fracture and sleeping has been the pits. Every movement, bump, or tug wakes me up. I am over taking pain meds and sleeping meds just to get through. Wearing my full boot in bed is ridiculous and uncomfortable because it’s excessively bulky and has a rubber sole, not to mention it’s dirty from being everywhere else with me. This brace - specifically meant for sleeping/resting - is perfect. It’s a soft felt all the way around so it sits under blankets or sheet just right, doesn’t catch on anything. This also allows me to attach the Velcro any way I need to. The straps themselves are padded so they stay secure around my foot without making my screws hurt or dig. The only negative so far is that it runs small. I ordered a medium because it said I was right in the middle of the size chart for shoe size, but my toes go RIGHT to the end. For more specific reference, I am a size 10 (women) and it says it fits up to a size 12 1/2 (women) but I would definitely not be able to wear this if I was even a half of a size bigger. Size up if you’re hesitant.

Poor durability
Fits well but doesn’t last long. Velcro stops sticking and ankle hinge breaks. Ankle strap is too short.

Excellent Comfortable splint
I found myself needing an extra splint as I had a recurrence of plantar fasciitis in one foot that aggravated my opposite leg as I compensated for the other while walking. The brand I had on hand (!) was no longer available, but this brand appeared to be a match. And it is. Comfortable, easy to use, and helpful. I find that once I set the straps, I can slide my leg in and out going forward without having to undo the straps.

Not well made night splint
I was pleased with the overall size and weight of the night splint sleeping boot but disappointed greatly by its overall quality to hold up. At first the velcro stuck well to the cloth support but after about 2 weeks it started to not want to hold in place and popped off and loose often. The design of the wrap around strap to secure the boot in place was awkward to work with during the night especially when I had to take it off and then rewrap it around. It would catch other things and then eventually failed to catch the cloth as velcro should. I am thinking I will have to attach my own velcro to make it work. For the price I think this boot is not worth it. I have an older boot that works better to stay in place and help to heal my plantar fasciitis which overlaps with velcro in the front unlike this boot. I do like the little wedge that comes with the boot that helps to put the foot at a good angle. Poorly engineered for healing of plantar fasciitis.

Strangely uncomfortable
Very well made, nicely padded but gave the strangest sensation that was extremely uncomfortable for me. I only lasted about 15 minutes. I had even prepared for the inevitable non-functioning velcro that so many have mentioned in other reviews by having an ace bandage on hand, the older kind that has the metal prongs plus some stretchy wound wrap tape, thinking that these would work when the velcro stopped working but alas, I will never get that far. Fortunately I was already making use of a "street" boot, just shy of being brand new, ankle high, light-weight with soft fur lining and it has helped with my plantar fasciitis tremendously, far more than all those stretches they want you to do (which actually made my 'pf' worse!!). I will keep this "boot-splint" as I believe it could be useful if having some sort of foot surgery or maybe if my other foot develops 'pf' (hope not!!!), perhaps it won't be uncomfortable.

High quality splint
Brace Direct night splint is a great splint for my broken ankle. It feels secure and comfortable. It stabilizes my ankle day and night. I ordered a size medium and it fits perfectly. I wear a size 8 and measured in small, however went with a medium. I wear the splint in the day when moving around on crutches as it provides good protection. The 3 Velcro straps are strong and well made. The Velcro can be placed tight or looser depending on preference. I highly recommend this splint for anyone needing to stabilize and alleviate pain or recovering from ankle surgery. The quality is excellent and a great value for the price. The 90 degree angle stabilizes the foot well.

Comfortable and effective!
I have other hard plastic night splints with little velcro straps you have to fit through little holes. They work amazingly but when you're injured and have lost flexibility, it is very difficult to move your legs to get those little straps on. I wanted this one for the ease of putting it on! And the bonus is that it's so soft and comfortable!! This padded one is 100% more comfortable! It's so soft I don't even have to wear socks with it (like my other one). And the velcro is amazing, so easy to put on, no issues at all. If you have never slept with a night splint, it does take getting used to, but it's worth it when you wake up without pain. I have a women's size 10 shoe so I bought the medium and it fits perfectly so the foot base must be 10" in a medium. Also a little tip, I don't undo the strap that goes over my foot. Just set it how you need it the first time and then just slip your foot in and do up the ankle and shin straps. Saves the material from velcro usage.

Makes sleeping easier
I’ve been having a terrible time sleeping in an aircast after fracturing my foot and ankle. After 4 weeks I couldn’t take it anymore and I bought this . It’s a game changer! It supports my injury but doesn’t feel like a concrete block and I can sleep with it a lot more easily. Very happy. Velcro seems to be holding up so far. I think it probably depends where your injury is, there is little to no support where your toes are. But it works for me!

Should last a while
Purchased this plantar fasciitis 90 degree night splint on the advice of my physiotherapist. It’s a fairly large item and takes some getting used to when wearing it at night. The velcro is strong enough to stay snug on leg all night (for now while it’s new). My shoe size is 8.5 and I ordered a size M which is a good fit. Please note that the back of the splint is 14” high and doesn’t have a lot of padding on the top. I am a short gal (5’3”) and it hits me at the top of my calf which is not very comfortable at night.

Except pain at heel
Digs in, the only challenge is the seam at the heel on the inside of the brace. The manufacturer needs to change this. Really good product otherwise.
