Awesome for plantar fasciitis!
This has been great! I was having so much foot pain, it was excruciating to walk especially in the morning, but also every time I stood up. Where I work I am constantly up and down on my feet. I tried all kids of exercises and Remedies and nothing as helping. I I used this brace and had a drastic improvement after the first night and with in a week I had no more pain. I highly recommend this for plantar fasciitis! I wear it every night now.

Be careful with your size selection
Idk if it's effective or not. It's hard to tell with all the different things I'm doing. I think I did get improvement after I started using it. It's bulky but it's better than last one. One thing I wanted to share though is that I'm a woman's 8 and got a small. It's too small. I still use it but my toe hangs out and the toe slant thing is impossible to use. I think because the splint is too small

Great Boot for Plantar Fasciitis
After trying one boot that I returned (not comfortable to sleep in), I purchased the Brace Direct Padded Night Splint 90 Degree Immobilizing Stretching Sleeping Boot. I ordered it on December 14 and received it December 20. 2023. I wore it for about 4 hours for 3 nights and noticed that each day my heel felt better. After 3 nights, I began wearing it all night. It does slip off during the night, but I just slip it back on if I wake up. I continued to see improvement and after about a week, I could get out of bed and walk normally. There was no pain. The fasciitis is not gone but I don't look like I'm 100 anymore!! I wear a women's size 6 shoe and ordered a small boot. I could possibly use an extra small (if they had that size), but I find this one comfortable and it has worked for me even though it slips off. The plastic part of the brace did break after 2 months (it was not abused in any way). I called Brace Direct and the girl was lovely. She was happy to hear of my success and disappointed that it broke. She said that is very, very unusual. The boot comes with a warranty and she said they would replace it. I received a prepaid mailing label (shortly after speaking with her) to return the broken boot which I am doing today. Once they receive the broken boot, they will send a new one. I highly recommend the boot for plantar fasciitis.

Defected straps and wrong size
Pros: it appears to be soft and snuggled in place by setting my foot and leg in it. Cons: Straps two of three straps are defected. When velcroed they don't go straight across, but they go vertically upward where the top of foot is supposed to me supported in a fashion that foot doesn't move. The way this specific boot is, it doesn't hold any support. Plus, the sizing online compared to manufacturers instructions are conflicting. This boot is definitely too small for me according to me trying it on and then the manufacturers sizing. I clearly need a Medium. I will come back and change my rating when this seller/company makes it right. By asking for a return, I was sent to thier main website 4-5 days ago to fill out a form (email) and I still haven't heard anything back from them and I was asking for an exchange in a Medium.

It was ok, but not a great substitute for sleeping in the aircast
I bought this because even though my doc approved me to take my aircast boot off when sleeping, my ankle hurts too much to sleep like that. This one is lighter weight, but it seems to keep the sole of my foot at a weird angle, I guess the walking boot is not completely flat at the bottom. and my heel slips out. Also it is not in any way meant to walk on. So if I go to the restroom in the middle of the night I can't walk on it the short distance to the bathroom, I worry I'll slip and fall. So I marked it as three stars- because I didn't buy it for planter fasciitis and can't speak to that. It pretty much does what it says, but it doesn't fit my needs.

GREAT BOOT, but…SIZE CONFUSION
There seems to be confusion somewhere with sizing. Some reviews stated their boot was larger than the sizing chart indicates while others said just the opposite, so I punted and ordered a Small. My shoe size is a solid 7.5 in Women’s. My toes slightly spill over the edge of the boot, so a Medium would have been ideal. In my experience, had I followed the company’s sizing chart I would have gotten the better fit. It’s lightweight, soft, and comfortable as advertised. As for quality, longevity, Velcro resilience, or other concerns, I cannot comment since it just arrived moments ago. Because the sizing chart seems accurate, I’ve given 5 stars for now since I have no issues at the fault of the company. UPDATE: A couple of weeks of solid use following surgery, and it has provided much relief for resting and sleeping. Still no issues with Velcro. For me, the boot is well padded, lightweight, comfortable, and gives ample protection while sleeping. I would highly recommend it for someone needing to replace the heavy walking boot while sleeping/resting/elevating, but it is not intended for walking.

Didn’t provide enough side‑ankle support for me
I had high hopes for this brace because it’s so well‑reviewed, but it just wasn’t the right fit for my ankle. The main issue for me is the design: the back support doesn’t wrap around the sides of the ankle enough to keep it stable. Because of that, I never felt fully secured at night, and I was too concerned about my ankle shifting to sleep comfortably. I can see why it works well for others, but for my needs — especially post‑surgery — it didn’t give the level of support or side‑to‑side stability I was looking for.

So worth it!!
Wearing this boot has made a world of difference in getting out of bed in the morning! With my plantar fasciitis those first steps in the morning were so painful. The boot keeps my foot flexed so no pain in the morning!! The boot does take some getting used to when sleeping but it’s soft doesn’t cut into my leg or foot like some have and so worth it!

For our toe walker
Exactly what I've been looking for. Trying to help stretch my toe walking sons calves. I've tried SO MANY products for toe walking. Braces. Insoles. Arch support. Anti crease toe caps. And so many..many more. Prior to surgery, they will cast the child's legs to see if this corrects it. So we have been using this boot at night (it's mostly his left leg) and it's pretty comfortable and does the job, especially with the added wedge they give you! I do wish there was a 2nd wedge. It's made of a weak foam, which I can see warping with time. But we're happy !

Excellent tool
I was skeptical at first, didn’t sleep well for a couple of nights but omg it truly works. My plantar fasciitis was at a acute pain stage. I’m a very active person, and not being able to do my activities was pretty depressing. I’m still nursing it but the boot really helps and it took away the pain. I strongly suggest the boot. Plantar faciatis sufferers know that stretching is key to recovery and it takes time to heal. Invest, it’s worth it 👍 (I’m just not sure how to wash it, it does say washable 🤷♀️)
