Used for PS5, not recommended if you want a perfect install.
The install was very simple, comes with a small screw driver so even if you somehow didn't have your own set that fit for these screws,they at least provide the means to finish the job. Make sure you read the instructions carefully to make sure you are installing your NVMe correctly, as they include a spacer thermal pad in case your unit isn't quite thick enough to fill in the space. For my needs, I bought a 2TB NVMe for my PS5, but I wasn't too thrilled with the cooling potential of some of the heatsinks shown that I was recommended to fit in the PS5. I found this heatsink that looked more than adequate at moving heat away from the chip, and searched to see if anyone else had used it on their PS5 setup. I found 1 other person that had, and they informed in the review that the metal shield plate that goes over the NVMe would not be able to be installed with this heatsink, but the plastic PS5 side panels would install just fine. He also noted that there was no issues in thermal performance because of this, and I can confirm. If I wanted to absolutely put the metal plate back on, I would find a lower profile heatsink to install for the PS5, but I wanted better thermal control, and this thing is beefy, well equipt to move heat away from the board as I wished.

Quality product, tested and recomended.
The quality product is very well-designed; it makes a perfect coverage over both faces of the drive, dissipating the heat. Fanless is a plus—less wires and noise; the thickness of the materials and quality of the copper and aluminum utilized are top-notch. A+ No daubs a quality product.

Provides heat dissipation for M.2 SSD
I just completed this build last week for my wife. I did a thorough research on heat transfer and dissipation for M.2s and the recommended heat sinks application to ensure optimal performance. First, I chose Sabrent (SB-HTSS) because of the quality of materials used for heat transfer and its "tubular" designed technology that is mostly provided for CPU fans. Second, I wanted a heatsink that would look nice with the white motherboard and case and after installing it (see pictures) it compliments everything. Lastly, was the price. It was appropriately priced and was a small investment to what could be a costly preventative disaster. I couldn't rate the adhesion at this time. It will require several months to a year to see how it holds up. I honestly can't remember pre and post temperature results, but I vaguely recalled doing a temporary stress test for about 2 minutes; temps were hovering around ~21Celsius.

Great passive cooler, may suffer against underside heat
The build quality on the main heatsink piece seems to be very good, and so far my testing indicates that it's doing a great job managing heat, holding up against taller and active heatsinks I've tried. I appreciate the aesthetics, and the low profile allows this to be installed in a slot next to my PCI audio card without the parts rubbing against each other. I was not impressed with the bottom heatspreader bracket; it appears to be made of plastic with a metallic coating, so I'm not convinced it would conduct heat from the underside up to the heat pipes very well. Unfortunately, I could not test this as the shape ended up incompatible with my motherboard's mounting standoff. The cutaway area for the mounting screw is divoted to create a sort of counter-sink. Unfortunately that adds some gap between the SSD and the board, which meant the little cam on the board's standoff peg could only grab the heatsink bracket, not the circuit board itself. I don't trust that this would keep the SSD securely contacting the socket, so I removed the bottom bracket altogether and am running this with just the main portion. That unfortunately means the heatsink is only secured to the SSD with thermal compound so I will be monitoring that to make sure everything stays together.

Sabrent Cooler
This cooler does work very well. The design is a little high, which is fine for some of the drives I have but if you have a slot near your video card like I do this will not fit there, so I had to go with a shallower heat sink. However, this design where it does fit works VERY well. My Sabrent NVME drives a few degrees cooler than they did with other coolers in the same location. I would recommend this to anyone to protect your drives.

Great piece of hardware. Significant temperature reduction.
This is a fantastic piece of hardware. The heat sink unit is well-engineered and manufactured. The heat sink fit without any issues into my ASUS Prime X570-Pro MB. The NVMe drive temperatures, underload have decreased by over 20*C. The NVMe drive is now operating at maximum capability under all use conditions. I am buying a second unit for the second NVMe drive that I have installed in the system. I am very, very satisfied with the price and performance of this heat sink.

Looks great but not a good performer for passive builds
Conclusion: Very pretty and works well with at least some airflow, but you can find something similar for much cheaper. Pros: - Looks great - Lots of thermal mass (works well with a decent amount of airflow) - Packaging & instructions were surprisingly high quality Cons: - Low surface area (bad for areas with less airflow) - Expensive

Very hard to tighten the screw to your M.2 drive
I was pretty enthustiastic because my Evo 970 1TB is running quite hot, so i thought that this cooler looked sturdy and there was mainly positive vibes on Amazon on it, so i gave it a shot although it was quite expensive for a passive cooler. First, i had a really hard time fitting the M.2 drive after attaching the cooler because one of the pipes is exactly above the screw that you need to tighten the drive with. This is imo a construction mistake. So i had to try and move the cooler back and forth before finally getting the small included screwdriver to tighten it. Well in place, i had only a result of a 4 degrees celcius lowering of the Samsung Temp... from 60 to 56... not that impressive, i put all my chassifans to max and it actually did'nt affect the cooling so my final verdict is that it is ineffective. Amazon is hazzlefree so i'll return it but unfourtnatly i cannot recommend this cooler.

Was hesitant at first to purchase as I haven't used heatsinks on m.2 before but very happy with the product. Easy to assemble and install. Dropped my overall temp by 5 to 10 degrees. Was so happy with the performance I bought another for my second m.2.

Uitstekend koel vermogen
Geïnstalleerd op een WD SN850 2TB nVME, gemonteerd op MSI x570 moederbord (staat bekend as heethoofd). Onder normale gebruik blijft de temperatuur laag (40 °C max).
