Good, rich flavor and color, but high sodium content.
A rich and dark soy sauce. Very high in sodium, 1300 mg per tablespoon, but that's to be expected with a rich soy sauce. Best used in moderation as an an adjunct to other seasonings. Convenient unbreakable plastic jug saves pantry space and can be decanted into a smaller container if desired. Requires refrigeration after opening. A good value when offered at about $15 at the time of our order.

Dark and STRONG. Use with caution.
Dark and STRONG. If it's your first time with this brand, I strongly recommend tasting it before you add it to any dishes. Cut your recipe recommendations by 75% and taste before adding any more. If you have a sauce that calls for a couple of tsp of dark soy, start out with 1/2 of a tsp. I'll make up the difference with more oyster sauce. It's definitely a high quality product, but a little goes a long way, or it will be all you taste in your Asian sauces.
