I could not believe Amazon had this on here!! It arrives packed to the 10's...so much so you really should read over the info FIRST as there are foam blocks tucked up in the striker areas. You will need a molly/hollow wall fastener or as I discovered in my case, I hit concrete!! So thankfully I had a concrete drill and some Tap-Cons screws. It is not overly heavy but I would guess it is around 30 lbs or so. Once you read the manual and you have removed all the packing material from inside the clock and you use the key look at the time FIRST- and if it is easier to set the time BEFORE winding, then do so, otherwise wind each key hole tight (read the directions). It will run a full 7 days. There is a little screw at the pendulum base that allows you to speed up or slow the movement down (100% German clockwork movement). Tremendous value and 3 different chimes plus you can switch it to silent (Whittington, St.Michael, Westminster) you can see the selection on the dial- put your glasses on! After a week or so, you become aware of the 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 and of course - on the hour. Of all the sites I shopped Amazon was best w/ Prime!

It doesn’t keep time well. One of the tines is off key and sounds like a fire alarm pitch Followed all Instructions but will not improve. I regret buying it given the cost.

Love the clock the only negative I have it the winding key is harsh on my hands. The two holes dig into my fingers while winding.
