Zip Up Hooded Velour Kaftan Robe

This robe is gigantic, even for a large size. The only consumer to review it said that it ran small. Exchange was not feasible because of the enormous shipping costs, that is, $20 to get it, $20 to return it, and $20 to ship a replacement--almost as much as the robe itself, which is pretty pricey.

I'm 5'1.5 inches tall, 120 pounds, and the small fits perfect, just like the advertised picture. NIce quality and comfortable. Love the hood. I didn't give it five stars because I thought it would be a bit heavier in weight. Since I just pulled it out of the box and put it on, I can't testify to how warm it will keep me. .

It was big, heavy and not attractive at all. I also hate trying to return things oversees, so I will watch my purchases in the future.

I searched all over for a zip up robe with a hood. This one is that. It is cute and fits well. I gave it 3 stars because it is not very plush and also because the black dye seems to get on my hands if I wear it for a few hours. Good for a back up but I'm finding myself going to my old robe!

I do love my Shlomper robe but it runs a little small - I would have bought a size up if I would have known. Also, the sleeves aren't long enough - an inch or two longer would be perfect. I might consider exchanging it for a size larger but the shipping costs are high due to the fact that it comes from the UK. The lush velour is good quality, mostly cotton and machine washable - no shrinkage at all. Overall, I would definitely recommend this robe.
