I normally run low on iodine, especially since I use sea or Himalayan salt in my cooking. I can feel the difference this makes for me. I take it with food or I get a slight taste from it on an empty stomach.

I feel like they work but take with food! Had a terrible stomach ache for two days because I didn’t take with food. Otherwise these supplements will have you feeling energized.

This supplement gives the body the raw material it needs to create T4, which is then converted by the body into T3, and T3 is what gives you the energy. If you do not have low T4, you shouldn't be taking this. I believe this product is not named properly because it's not intended to give you energy. It's intended to give your body what it needs to make hormones that will give you the energy (T3). That being said, if your body cannot make this conversion properly, you're not going to have energy. Conversely, if you start taking this and you're getting heart palpitations, etc., you're making yourself hyperthyroid, and if you're taking medication in addition to this, that can be dangerous. You should work with your Healthcare provider to lower your thyroid medicine dosage. Everyone needs to understand how the thyroid works before taking supplements like this because you can cause more harm than good. All this being said, if you have issues with low T4, and your body is able to convert it into T3 properly, this supplement will work wonders for you!
