Lead-free Amaco Velvets are opaque underglazes which have the appearance of velvet when left unglazed. When glazed with transparent matte glaze they will assume a soft satin finish. Cone 05-10.; Review: This is one of the best underglazes to decorate greenware before bisque firing. The cone 5 colors hold with little or no “surprises” giving the potter full control of the end result. Review: Good !!!

this is exactly what you’re looking for and paying for. a great white underglaze that fits great at cone 6. have not tried it with cone 10.
