Kaplan Securities Industry Essentials License Exam Manual, 2nd Edition - Comprehensive Exam Prep Book

Easy to read and they present each concept in multiple ways and woven together so that by the end you almost accidentally understand the concepts in a robust manner. There is a reason these guys are the best and most successful. They know what they are doing.

I am not taking the SI exam. I purchased this book per a recommendation as a great reference for all konds of financial concepts and tools. It did meet my expectations. It ia a great reference book woth good amount of explanation for concepts.

This Kaplan book is better organized and provides bullet points that's easy for me to follow and learn. I had bought the Dummies Series 6 and the first 2-3 chapters were just about how to prep for the exam. I bought this Kaplan one after I returned the Dummies book. So much better and I'm glad I switched. Definitely recommended. Hopefully I will pass my exam. We'll see!

I really like the flow and format of this textbook. Presented the information well, and had practice problems build in which I LOVED. You cannot go wrong with using this textbook to study for the SIE. I recommend.

This was useful, if not informationally exhaustive. I was glad I paid for a Kindle book of SIE questions because that provided exposure to several topics not in this SIE book. I did one of those tests, plus the free practice test on the FINRA site the night before the exam and worried a bit because my scores varied wildly and that there were topics unfamiliar to me. The real exam was straightforward and, I felt, easier than the practice tests.

Game changed

Study and you will pass, good luck. Can't get better then Kaplan.
