Absolutely fantastic item, especially this week. Easy to install (watch the You Tube video before you start). Works perfectly to hold my air-con exhaust in place to expel the hot air, without letting any air or critters in! Brilliantly designed.

Not as hard to install as some people make it out to be, its pretty much the same as most others. Clean the window frames, put the tape on, stick it on being mindful of opening / closing, sort the positioning out then attach it all. That being said, the adhesive is a bit rubbish for the velcro, some of it just refuses to stick. I can only imagine that the longevity of the 'magic tape' will probably not be that long but I have other velcro tape. But all in all, it does a good job and stops be worrying about my cat jumping out the window when its very hot like recently in the UK!

It is very easy to use and very strong. The item came very well packaged and is of great quality. It was very easy to put up on my window and I am very happy with it.

Lack of Customisation: It’s a "one size fits most" design, which means if your window is significantly smaller than 400cm, you end up with excess fabric that can look a bit messy or "baggy" on the frame. Difficulty with Window Operation: Because the glue isn't incredibly strong, the tugging and pulling required to open or close the window often causes the seal to peel away from the frame. We live in a 3-bed semi-detached property, and upstairs gets absolutely baking during hot weather. I put this Homcom unit upstairs in an 8x8 meter room, and it has been a total blessing. It cools the main room down incredibly quickly, but it’s so powerful that it actually helps cool down the other rooms upstairs as well! It has been an absolute lifesaver recently while we've been decorating, painting walls, and stripping floors—it kept us perfectly comfortable the whole time. To make it work with my outward-opening window, I also bought the MOEGFY AC Window Seal (Universal 400cm kit for £15.99). It works perfectly and completely stops the hot air from the exhaust pipe from sneaking back inside. I have attached photos and a video showing the machine running on the different modes—including Dehumidifier (df), Fan, and Air Conditioner settings—so you can hear exactly how loud the unit gets on each level. Like any powerful A/C, there is some noise, but for how fast and effectively it clears the heat, it is 100% worth it. I bought this to use with a portable air conditioner, but unfortunately it didn’t fit my window as expected. Despite being advertised as universal, it wasn’t suitable for my setup and left gaps that affected the seal. The material itself seems fine and the zip design is convenient for the hose, but the overall sizing and fitting options were not as adaptable as I needed. Installation was also more fiddly than expected, and it took time to try and position it properly without success. It might work better with certain window types, but in my case it didn’t provide a secure or effective fit. A decent concept in theory, but not as universal or adaptable as described, especially if your window setup is slightly unusual.

Bought this to go with my Meaco portable AC so I could move it from the the living room to bedroom at night. My window measured 348cm and I bought the 400cm. Fits perfectly with plenty extra. All AC window seals are fiddly but this one went on better/easier than my original one. Deducted 1 star as the bedroom doesn't get as cool as the living room even though it's half the size. I think maybe the seal doesn't 'seal' as well therefore let's hot air & some bugs in.... or as the bedroom is upstairs & has been heating up all day maybe my AC has to work harder up there 🤔

Doet wat het moet doen! Eenvoudige installatie, goede prijs-kwaliteit verhouding. Ik heb zelf best lang onderzoek gedaan naar een goede raamafdichting - deze is in ieder geval prima.
