I love this! So easy to use and clean. I make popcorn in it without any oil (it states not to put in oil and salt while making the popcorn) and then lightly spray on some olive oil and salt it after it has popped. Stores easily too. Popcorn pops up nicely and tastes great!

I was standing in the grocery aisle looking at boxes of microwave popcorn when I wondered, when did popcorn become so expensive? As a kid my parents used to take me to Ted's Popcorn stand and the popcorn was really delicious -- and had real butter if you wanted it. As time went buy, I somehow began to substitute convenience for flavor and price. No matter how I tried to cook those bags of popcorn in the microwave, those bags of popcorn never cooked evenly and there were always too many un-popped kernels in the bottom of that yucky mystery "grease" that clings to the roof of your mouth. So I decided to bite the bullet and try a new popcorn popper in the hopes of having affordable popcorn that was easy to pop without all those chemicals in it. Well, this product exceeded my expectations. It was quick, it was easy to use. It held a goodly amount of popcorn while also allowing you to make a smaller batch. It was very easy to use. I could add salt to the popper or go salt free -- my choice. Inside the bowl there were markings showing you how much corn to put in so you could make a large or small batch. You could add oil if you want, or go oil free. You could even eat the popcorn straight from the bowl without having your wrist covered in yellow mystery grease from reaching into a paper bag. I bought fresh popcorn to go with my new popper, and was amazed that every single kernel popped. No burnt or singed pieces. If i wanted to, I could even make popcorn balls or flavored popcorn (like Poppycock or Fiddle Faddle) or even use it to make popcorn strands for the xmas tree -- things you don't do with bagged microwave popcorn. It tastes like old fashioned popcorn. It washes, easily. The bowl collapses to save space in the kitchen. Cooks popcorn quickly. So far I have found no downside to this product.

Great popcorn maker for anyone who wants to control their fat and salt intake! It’s easy to use and makes delicious popcorn without needing oil or butter. One important tip: do not fill the popcorn kernels above the marked lines, otherwise, you may end up with a microwave full of popcorn! ;-)

I love this popper! This is such a simple design, you'd think it wouldn't work, but it works so well. Now, instead of buying expensive microwave popcorn, I buy cheaper kernels. It pops most of the kernels, and it's super easy to wash by hand. I'm being conservative with it, and I haven't added any oil or butter to it. I'll pour it into another bowl for butter and seasoning, so I don't risk doing any damage to this product. It's silicone, so it'll probably be fine....? It also collapses for storage. If it was my product, I'd add a 1/4 measuring spoon, and maybe a couple smaller ones, just to make sure you don't overfill it.

This popper surprised me. So easy to use, no oil required. Popcorn is fluffy with few kernels left unpopped. (I use Red Mill popcorn which is also good quality.) Cleanup is a breeze — basically just rinse it out. Like it so much I bought one for my daughter.

The Original Proper Popper Microwave Popcorn Popper, Silicone - Before I say how much I like this popper, I have to wonder why these silicone popper manufacturers seem to think 'collapsible' as a popper feature is important to me. When I'm done and want to leave it in the sink with water in it to soak for a while, I don't want it to flop over. That said... - I try to review on each product's merits, and not compare it to others. But it's hard for me now because the only other popper I had was so terrible. This one does not have a lip at the top edge, which is great because I can easily pour out any residue, or pour popcorn into other bowls to share. And this one has handles! Yay! - It came with directions. Another Yay! I poured in 1/4 c seeds and set microwave for 4 mins, knowing I would stop it sooner. I actually microwaved for about 2+1/2 mins. My popcorn was light and fluffy, and only a couple kernels did not pop. That was incredible to me. And without oil! The bowl was big enough that I could spray liquid butter without making a mess. Then a little salt, and the popcorn was great. - I'm not a bright color person so I don't like the aqua color I got. But they don't have beige or grey, and it wasn't worth it to me to spend twice as much on white. But the product itself is definitely a keeper.

I was skeptical about this at first. I am very pleased with it now that I have used it. It works great and is just as easy as a popcorn bag. I am able to use what I want on the popcorn and as much or little as needed. It makes normal popcorn as enjoyable and easy as microwave bagged popcorn. It will pay for itself in savings shortly as well.

I love this popper! It worked very well. I filled it to the 1/4 c line .. put on the lid .. and popped it in the microwave for 2 -3 minutes ... and whala! Popcorn! Just add butter and you are set to go! ... Popcorn tasted great and hardly any kernels were left unpopped. It did not burn either. I used Orville Redenbacher's popcorn. ... It is really nice heavy silicone and washed up beautifully. I did not have to use oven mits to take out of the microwave. The handles seemed ok to the touch for me. I purchased the teal to match my other kitchen utensils.

This is incredible product and is easy to use. My receipt for great popcorn is: Put 50ml of corn on the bottom and put small amount of butter and salt by taste. I personally cut the butter on small pieces and then mash it with my hands. Put the lid and set it on low power 50-70% in the microwave for 1 minute. When it stops turn the power to 100% for 3 minutes. The popcorn is delicious out of this world.
