I have used this webcam for a number of meetings and it works great. The image quality is better than expected and very good if you have adequate lighting. The built-in microphone is ok and gets the job done well. The included tripod is a little stiff at first but works great after playing with it a bit. The included privacy shutter works great. It comes separate so you can choose to use it or not. It is easy to attach but does slightly block the power and signal LEDs but it's not an issue. Overall I think it's a great webcam and you can't go wrong with the price. I highly recommend it.

I took this picture using the webcam (don't judge) to show the quality of picture this webcam has. It's not super sharp like a camera, but it is very sharp for an inexpensive webcam. It's better than some phone cameras. It is truly plug and play with not much finagling to set up. If your computer doesn't recognize it, then it's not plugged in correctly because I've used it in a pinch when we needed a webcam on a computer that it has never been plugged into for a Zoom meeting and within a minute to dial into the meeting, it was working perfectly with microphone and video. No complaints here!

I purchased this Webcam for use with my dock that I can switch back and forth between my home and work computers. Pros: The video is crisp and the sound is clear. The installation was plug and play and works with both my Mac and my windows computers. Cons: My camera occasionally shorts out on the video. Either the screen goes blank or it does a weird feedback across the bottom half, which is not good when you're using it daily for meetings. Also, the cover is actually an aftermarket stick on cover, and you'll want to clean the lens area with alcohol before putting it on... Mine has fallen off a few times. All in all, if you need an inexpensive but solid camera for occasional use, it's a good pick. But if you're looking for something daily, I'd spend a little more money.

The only thing I didn't like about this product is the widescreen lens. It's probably not going to be a problem for anyone, but I bought it for the purpose of tabletop gaming through services such as playEDH and I'm not the biggest fan of the wide angle lens. It can make the field look weird and make it a little hard to follow what's going on for the other people playing, but that's more of a nitpick than anything else. It's a great deal for the price, and if you're also looking to buy a webcam for some webcam tabletop gaming or something similar, you can't go wrong with the price. I would also recommend, if you're going to get this for that specific purpose, get a stand for it because the stand that comes with it is not very good for tabletop gaming. Again, all just nitpicks, it's a very nice webcam for the price. Audio quality on the mic is great, picture looks great, it's definitely worth picking up if you need one.

As a teacher who needs to teach virtually, I died died I was going to use a webcam and teach love in my classroom. I tried several webcams and this one works great. It was easy to install, plug and play. All I needed to do was switch cameras in the software I am using. Picture is great, google meet on;y slows up to 720p, but the picture is great and will help greatly with my teaching. I am several other teachers will be using this type of camera to teach.

First off, I would like to say that I am a streamer. I used the Logitech C920S prior, a much more expensive camera. Comparing the two are out of the question, as the C920S offers more features that I must have while streaming, but that being said, the W5 has a very decent video quality and was as simple as any usb device is to install. The mic is standard as you would find on any USB device at this price. I would not use the mic for streaming as its muffled my voice from where it sits on my monitor. The 110º Wide View was a plus for this overall, but due to the fact I have a green screen, i'd need to move the green screen extremely closer to my chair leaving zero space behind me. I will use this webcam as a secondary view when it is needed so I do not have to disconnect my C920S all the time. Overall I give this a 3 star rating. Changes that could be made would be including a management app as such as Logitech Capture. If you are just starting out as a streamer or only need it for the occasional zoom meeting, this is a great deal and a great product. If you are a long time, established streamer, I would not go with this particular webcam.

We’ve been using zoom a lot now and our old laptop camera wasn’t the best. I can see a big difference with the new one. I wouldn’t say 1080p but it’s a upgrade for us so we don’t care. Haven’t had any issues with it. I plugged it in and it automatically downloaded the driver. It’s easy to switch on zoom to this camera. It comes with a top to put over the camera when not in use. I don’t know about the microphone, some have said it sounded scratchy once but each time we tested it it sounded fine, so I’m not sure since there’s so many variables. But I do think our laptop mic sounds clearer and so for something important I might use that mic and switch to this one for casual use. Either way happy with the camera. I put pics up for comparison (1st pic is old camera, 2nd pic new webcam which you can see more definition in my hair)

DECENTE, NO BUENA, solo DECENTE. pero se hecho a perder en menos de 2 meses. ahora parece que traigo filtro de instagram o de gameboy camera. no se que diablos le pasó. menos mal la compre en descuento. NO LA RECOMIENDO. busca una marca que tenga garantía.

Worked for one week, and then the video portion stopped working. Quality reflects price unfortunately!
