Awesome replacement filter! This is my first time ordering this filer, and was pleasantly surprised that it arrived the very next day. Installation was quick and easy, and I immediately noticed an improvement in the water flow from my refrigerator's dispenser. Be sure to allow the fridge time for the water to filter through, pour out a couple glasses of water until it runs clear and all the air gets out. This filter definitely makes the water taste fresher and more crisp. I will for sure buy this product again.

Perfect fit! I easily found this refill water filter on Amazon. I initially...quickly read over the instructions but, not fully. As a result of not taking the time to read it in its entirety, I thought something was wrong when I went to fill my glass with water, after Installing the filter and only running a HALF GALLON tea pitcher and dumping it ( The instructions clearly state to run at least 2 gallons of water through and dump it before use!) I noticed my water was cloudy with what looked like a faint color of blue ink in it! People...don't rush like i did, READ THE INSTRUCTIONS! They are clear and easy to follow. After realizing my error 🙃 and correcting it, everything ran smoothly. This particular brand is a little more pricey than i anticipated, however it states you can get a good 6 months or longer out of this filter so I'm pleased. This brand is pretty good and the water taste way better now. Unfortunately, my husband kept clearing the red light on the fridge that indicates its time to replace the filter 😐 this resulted in our daughter getting a nasty little surprise in her cup one night! Thankfully, she had looked before putting the top to her cup back on and dumped the entire thing.

Great OEM filter. I have replaced these on the as needed basis and have yet to encounter any issues. The Amazon store is a good value and is the exact GE filter. Easy replacement and the flow is great/

These are so easy to install and make me feel better about drinking water as I don’t trust the pipes in my house. Even the dog gets filtered water. Water always tastes great and have never had any issues. Wish they weren’t so expensive or had a two pack for a little less. But I seem to use one every six months has been my average. Never owned a refrigerator with a water dispenser before.

Update: Called GE and they sent me a new filter despite being past the returns date. Thank you.I just tried to replace the old filter and this new one is giving an error message. It says it's a genuine GE XWFE filter and it looks the same and came in a GE box. And of course, I'm past the return date because I wanted to have a replacement on hand. Very dissatisfied with getting a faulty product that may not even be as advertised, a genuine OEM water filter.

Easy to replace good fit somewhat pricey

Effective, quality backed product that delivers good tasting and highly purified water consistently for its as labeled shelf life. Don’t forget to change out filters though when the GE fridge filter indicator light comes on. Wish price could be a little more reasonable
