Closest thing to Whey
Best Vegan Protein Powder in the Game. I usually don’t leave reviews on anything really but I’ve been looking for a good vegan powder for the longest and I think I’m stopping here. In terms of taste, texture and versatility, ghost really knows what they’re doing. The best flavors to get are chocolate chip cookie, chocolate cereal milk. Cinnabon is decent but it isn’t good in anything cold, only use it for hot stuff. The other 2 are just good in everything. Literally 0 grit or chalk idk how they did that. And the flavors are literally identical to what is trying to be advertised. I’ve tried all 3 of these flavors in every recipe possible and it literally just doesn’t disappoint. I was getting really tired of having to hold my nose to drink protein shakes but now with these you can literally enjoy them with just water if you wanted to. It doesn’t feel like a punishment at all. I’m allergic to peanuts so I can’t speak on the peanut flavored one but I’m sure it’s good. Honestly for 50$ this is definitely worth every penny. It checks all the boxes literally. Genuinely like all jokes aside, this is the closest thing you’ll get to whey. It even makes a good “whey drip” for cream of rice or oats or even french toast or pancakes which is pretty surprising for a vegan powder that includes pea protein in the blend. 10/10 powder!!!

It's not just pea protein, no added sugar and actually tastes good. Winning!
Ok, most Vegan proteins are just plain weird. Weird texture, weird taste, weird smell, and most rely solely on pea protein. Ghost combines pea protein with watermelon seed and pumpkin protein, which is easier on my stomach, tastes good and still comes in at 20g of plant protein with no added sugar. I'm not Vegan, but I am gluten and dairy free, so this is perfect for me. Chocolate cereal milk is my go-to flavor and mixes well in smoothies and dissolves nicely for a quick mix with water. It's about the same cost as you pay for most premium proteins, and they come out with new flavors pretty often. The Banana Pancake and seasonal Coconut are also good smoothie mix-ins for variety.

Best Tasting Vegan Powder
I’ve recently transitioned to a dairy free diet, and I found it difficult to get enough protein in without dairy. I’ve tried vegan protein powders in the past, but none of them had a good texture or test. I used to buy Ghost’s whey protein and always enjoyed it, so I figured I’d give their vegan line a try, and I’m happy I did. They nailed the texture and the taste. I add a scoop into my smoothies every morning and it makes it taste delicious. I don’t like simple protein powder mixed with milk, so I haven’t tried that. I’ve found I enjoy protein powder the most when mixed with something. It dissolves incredibly well into smoothies, even with other thick ingredients like frozen fruits, powdered peanut butter, and ice. This is a 10/10 protein!

Tasty protein powder
Tasty protein powder, even since it's vegan. The flavor options are limited so I can really only use as a protein shake. I'm not able to mix into many recipes. I've tried the Banana Pancake and Cinnabon flavors and both are tasty. The powder does leave a mess after using as it's a different texture as whey protein so just something to be mindful of. It does leave me feeling full afterwards, which is also not something I experience with other protein powders.

Wouldn’t Recommend
I’m really disappointed with this protein powder. I was really hopeful because it seemed like a legit brand. The taste of the Cinnabon Vegan Protein powder is so artificial and doesn’t taste like cinnamon buns. It has a very unfortunate slightly cinnamon “mildew” type taste (that’s the best way I can describe it) so it’s not even an aftertaste it’s just hard to swallow from start to finish. And the powder is grainy because there were harder bits in the mix to start with. I even mixed it with banana to see if that would help and it did not. The worst part is, it repeated on me for hours after I had a smoothie. It was bad enough to taste it once but to have to keep tasting it hours later is a big “no thank you.” I try to mix up my protein powders so my go-to brands are Anthony’s Pea Protein (plain for baking, low carb, no sugar, high protein and great for macro counting), Falcon Performance Sport (the black container - it’s got added aminos and creatine, vanilla flavor for shakes and smoothies), and most recently Beam- Be Amazing Vegan Protein (the maple brown sugar oatmeal one- great for smoothies or “dessert” treats). I was hoping I could add the Ghost Cinnabon into the mix, but I’m going to have to fight my way through this container. It’s way too expensive to get rid of and I definitely feel like it should be better quality for the price. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend this for fellow vegan athletes. I’ll try to see if I can bake it into protein muffins or something but- oof. Sorry guys.

go choose a better flavor
I’m giving three stars because while theres nothing technically wrong with it as a protein source or packaging - its only 20g per serving rather than 25/30 should usually be. on top of that: THIS IS ONE OF THE WORST THINGS IVE EVER TASTED. its like trying to drink pancake mix straight out of the box. i blend my drinks up good and this was STILL like dry and gritty and awful cinnabon flavor is far superior (though a bit thick and sweet)

Tastes good and easy on the stomach
It had a slight after taste of peas, but that's a given considering the ingredients. But honestly, it overall has an amazing taste and unlike whey protein, it doesn't give me a stomach ache.

LOOK NO FURTHER
ECSTATIC - Im not the type to leave reviews but I had to come back and encourage others. Chocolate chip cookie tastes spot on and mixed really well with 10 oz of almond milk. Ive searched high and low for a soy protein that isn't awful - this has far exceeded all expectations. No whey, no milk, no problems!

Nice Flavour
I have been quite happy with the flavours for the plant based Ghost range. The cinnabon flavour is decent, its a nice creamy cinnamon. I mixed it with ~700ml water and double scoop it, quite a nice option and I would buy again.
