Works well as any other car seat. The only negative I have to say is, when taking the seat out, you have to tilt the car seat to lift out of the base. It is not a problem for me, but is difficult for my wife who is small.

We bought a base for each car so it makes it easy! The baby can ride in either car with a quick snap in amd out! SIMPLE AS THAT! Highly recommend this base and car seat set up, the best for the price for sure!

It's a nice base but whats up with the cost? Yes, Peg-Perego is a premium brand but I was surprised to see the base cost so high. Over all the quality is very good and the base you receive is the same as the one you get with your car seat. The Peg-Perego car seat and base are usually more heavy than other brands but cant beat the quality and look!

excellent child seat base. i simply love it. this new one comes with ISO fix that belts on to my ISO rear seats. it secures the entire base really tightly. although different from the Tri-Fix, it does not have the "ISO legs" that secures to the floor. Although its "safer", the Tri-Fix utilized the floor space for putting baby bags in which I don't really like.if you get this, fasten with the ISO belts provide and double secure with your seat belt to the infant seat. it's able to fix the entire seat firmly without moving an inch!

We bought this base as an extra so that we wouldn't have to move the original base that came with the infant car seat between our cars. Installation was pretty easy and you can feel the base is pretty sturdy with the infant car seat attached. The instructions are very clear and easy to follow. We bought the infant car seat and a stroller from Peg Perego and their products are very good quality. We are very happy with the products and recommend them to any new families.

Bought this as an extra base for a second vehicle. The original peg perego base works great, but this one for some reason doesn't always click into place. Like, it will make a clicking sound, but if you check it more often than not the car seat will lift right out. Because of this we always double check it, but, it would be better if it clicked securely the first time.

This extra base is nice to have if you are going to be transporting baby in more than one car. (Then, you don't have to move the base around, just keep it attached in each car.) I love how it clicks in to my car easily using the LATCH system and adjusts using knob. You can tell it is in the right spot when the arrow is in the green section- so easy to tell if you have it installed correctly.

We are so lucky not have to have to buy two car seats, this base is all we need to move child from one vehicle to the next vehicle. It's convenient and fits in most vehicles. Not to mention the car seat also clips into a stroller for infants so it is very convenient. We absolutely will recommend Peg Perego to any new parent for the quality in the car seat and having the option to buy extra bases.
