CAP Barbell Standard Straight Bar | 1-in Diameter | Multiple Options

I highly recommend this, it's very good quality! I was looking for a 1 inch, 6 ft bar for all of my weights and this has worked wonders! I'd say the bar weighs about 15 - 16 lbs which helps add some more weight to my lifting. It was a good price when I bought it (about $40)

Great 1" standard bar fits great in my old school squat rack I also got Olympic adapters for it too to use my bumper plates to teach olympic and powerlifting weightlifting movements. Definitely would recommend this bar and I am really glad I got the black bar and i can also use my standard 1" weights now too. We use a lot of CAP weightlifting products in our home gym and they prices are great for this workout family that works hard for our money. I definitely believe there products are Gym quality both me n my 19 year old son lift into the 350 to 400lbs range and the CAP weights bars n dumbbells all hold up! We actually wish they had some T shirts n sweatshirts. BIG BEAR WEIGHTLIFTING GYM APPROVES!!!

It has handled 250lbs of weight for almost a year now. Great quality bar as expected

I gave 4 stars because as far as the product goes, it seems ok. Measurements are even. As far as delivery goes it was a real sheet show. It didn't come in any type of packaging. Which is why it's damaged at the ends and scratched and dinged a little in from the ends. Only remnants of some packing tape that was folded over the ends, which was useless. Not sure if that is Amazon's doing or CAP or UPS since the delivery was handed off to them. It's also missing a rubber washer on one side. I bought this in June during prime day. It was supposed to be delivered July 6th. Nope. Then the 7th. Nope. Then the 8th and so on until the 10th came and Amazon just refunded me. It was in limbo at a UPS facility. Well it just popped up today, July 17th. No packaging just the bar with a sticker on it, probably why it got lost. You can hardly see it.

Knurling was very aggressive, but sanded down easily with emery cloth. Otherwise great.

This is exactly what I needed, my previous bar was too short and this is an amazing bar with great feel! Highly satisfied!!!!!!!!

I bought a small set of iron weights to start exercising. I was bothered at how short the bar was that came with the kit I bought. My plates are 1 inch. I didnt know anything when I bought them. I was glad to find this bar and not have to replace my weights. Im definitely not looking to lift 400 pounds. This bar is well made. Reasonably priced. Texture and grip feel great. Chrome finish is nice. No assembly required.

PROS: Affordable. Knurling is great for bench and standing row, or anything else with a wider than shoulder width grip. Although it will bend a little bit, it holds at least 315 pounds. Will update this review if it fails under more weight, but it is only rated up to 250 so my review rating won't change if it does fail. CONS: Slight permanent bend after 215 pounds. It bent exactly 3/32" over 26". I measured this before adding more weight. This is not a big factor in my opinion, but it affects my review because it really shouldn't do that under its weight rating. As stated above, I put 315 pounds on it and while it did bow a little more on my back, it didn't bend any further once it was back on the rack. Placement of knurling: This is why I give it 3 stars instead of 4. My forefinger grabs the smooth part of the bar at shoulder width, so I am eventually going to add bicycle handle grip tape for deadlifts. I am 5'11" with broad shoulders, and this issue would be worse for someone with a smaller frame. Also, the knurling on one side of the bar is 1/4" shorter than on the other side, so I used a magic marker and then tape to keep my grip even (see pic). Additional Comments: Per another review, I added a 3lb. weight to each sleeve to keep the bar at an even 25lbs. The Cap spring clips hold weights on very securely and are easy to use. The more expensive plastic collars slip, so I use them on my old barbell with threaded sleeves. Conclusion: I won't be returning this bar, but I will definitely upgrade in the future. It's good enough I suppose, but don't expect to be impressed.

Pedi la RB-72; la verdad supero mis expectativas, buen material, el area de agarre es muy bueno. Me gusto mucho y llego un día antes de lo establecido.

Product shipped to me two days after I ordered it. No damage. It looks nice and feels nice. Fits my Olympic width bench nicely. Great price and will last a long time I'm sure.

Justo lo que esperaba de mi compra

Good quality

It is a black bar. Very black and very bar-y. Really nailed the two aspects of being a black bar.
