Can the barbell, when assembled, be used for squats? I didn't see that in the video or customer comments.

Only narrow stance squats. If you do a wider stance, the plates aren't very big, so you can easily set the barbell down on your feet.

Could I use spring clips to keep the weights in place? Screwing the included ones is tedious

Dear Customer, Thank you for contacting us! Yes, the standard size of the spring clips is able to lock these weights. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you! Sincerely, Rachel

What are the diameter of the 1.5kg, 2kg and 2.5kg plates? the plates not the 1" bar size. thanks!!

I do not have a 1.5kg plate, but the 2kg plate is 7" in diameter; the 2.5kg plate is 7.625" in diameter and the 2.75kg plate is 8" in diameter. The plates have a durable yellow vinyl plastic wrapping around the edges making them indoor flooring friendly (carpet/tile/hardwood). I use my set all the time. It is a very useful weight set for indoor workouts without the expense or space commitment of heavier duty equipment.

Where can I purchase extra nuts?

Dear Customer, Thank you so much for contacting us! Yes, we do have the extra bolts are available. Please simply send us an email to our service email. It shows on the warranty card. Then we will be able to help you out right away. Thank you! Sincerely, Rachel
