Pat Sloan is excellent at explaining and drawing attention to the little details which yield the best results consistently. Her patterns are easy to follow. Sew a little every day and your skills grow quickly. A very helpful manual for the beginner or the intermediate quilter.

The directions are well written. I found the instruction easy to follow. Pat comments in the directions with encouragement just as doubt about whether you missed something or need to read again! There's something for beginners as well as advanced artists,quilters , in this book. Great variety of projects as well as excellent suggestions on what to quilt on them to finish. Really enjoyed the motivational quotes throughout the book. This would be a great gift for your friends who quilt.

As always, Pat Sloan has a great book. The instructions are precise and easy to follow. I would recommend this for all levels of quilters.

I teach quilting. Pat Sloan did a good job writing and illustrating. I am considering buying several copies to use in a large class to cover half square triangles for beginners. I wish more quilting authors wrote as clearly and with such accuracy.

I found this book to be an excellent guide for quilting with triangles! I was working on a project for Christmas which was totally triangles that I was not pleased with. After reading through this book I'm going to do the Christmas project again!In fact I'm planning to make some projects from the book. It will be kept as a reference book in my Quilting Library.
