This item is much better than I expected
My house mate smokes. That has to be done outside, currently that is on the carport. The well lit carport. Due to the damp winter in Arizona, the bugs have been out in full force and they really like well lit carports at night. Yep you guessed it the bugs came to visit her at night on the carport under the lights. She asked me to sit with her for a while to see all of bugs, and I have to admit that it was disturbing. The big creepy grasshopers made there way in, as did the zoomie little June bugs. I was up killing light freaked out bugs all over the place. It was disqusting. She mentioned a tent, so I started to think about netting and looking up the options. I saw this on Amazon and at the great price point it was, and I just bought it. It came in its own bag, so if I take it down I can put it in the bag for the next year's bug invasion, assuming we make it through this one. It is made well, and soft, and it was easy to install on the carport. The length was perfect because it touched the ground with room to spare. The width was more than enough to cover her chair a table and a foot rest, and still touch the ground. The netting has very small holes, so no grasshopper or june bug could get close to getting inside, which was perfect. The netting is also very soft, not scratchy which is perfect and gives it a nice hand or touch and allows it to have a soft drape that flows really nice, and when it touches your skin, you are grateful. She had to get used to the soft touch because she kept thinking it was a bug. But she did get used to it, and now she really likes it. The night breeze flows through it very well and it doesn't fly all over the place, which is a another bonus. This item was a great buy, and I am really glad I purchased it for her. It gave her peace of mind, and prevented me from having to kill all those light freaked out bugs.

Great net added nice esthetic to room
My kid loved this netting and kept it on her bed for several years. When she no longer wanted it i tried putting on my bed but didnt work for a number of reasons. 1st i have low sloped ceilings in my room and 2nd the dogs would either jump into and ricochet off bed or not be able to find their way out & off bed. Minor inconveniences. In all both my kid & i liked the netting.

MINOR WARNING
The product is as described, small holes, stretchy, what I wanted. One minor problem that people should be aware of: Product comes stuffed in a carry bag. This requires that the top round piece, which is bend-able, be bent and jammed in there. This round piece is rather large. When I was unfolding the net, I came to the round piece not realizing it was about to unfold itself (as it should) and it unwound itself abruptly...nailing me right in the face/eye. The part is not terribly hard, but is a sturdy plastic of sorts, and eyes generally don't take being hit by much of anything ;) <----a winking smile, but my wink is involuntary, because this thing hit me so quickly and unexpectedly in the eye). ;P Please just be aware that the thing spring-unfolds itself, and if you're not ready for it, because it is rather large, and because arm's length may not be far enough, it'll pop-unwind in your face quickly. No big deal, I recovered quickly, it was just something I wish I knew to avoid. Getting hit in the face/eye with just about anything is something we'd all rather avoid. The net is doing what I needed it to do; our weather has been horribly hot/humid this season, and I have a minor problem with an occasional black spider showing up in the bedroom. Can't figure out where they're coming from. I used to get one to two max per season (it's an old house) but after getting three in three days, and what appear to be bites on my body, I said "enough is enough." Needed a quick solution, and this provides it. Although relatively small, these spiders are far too big to get past the holes in this net. Seems to be a very decent product, and I was pleased with the price. Shopped for about a dozen before deciding on this one, very happy with it so far, I suspect it will get long-term use for years to come. Outside of the unexpected pop-out of the large ring that hit me in the eye at the top, it's a five-star rating. Only the tiniest and non-threatening bugs will get through this thing. (Note: Bedbugs can likely get through it. I suggest researching putting plastic down on the floor for a couple years to resolve that type of issue, it worked for me in the past. Unfortunately it does require long-term plastic be down, and get anything else off the floor).

Keeps out bugs and lets in air
I use for bugs.. not for aesthetics. Fortunately it also looks great on my bed. I had a maintenance guy at my apt complex install it. He said it was not easy, and the directions didn't help at all. He had to figure it out on his own. But I use it every night. The screens in my windows do not fit properly, thus allowing bugs in. I do not have air conditioning and only have ceiling fans. This mosquito net really makes a difference when compared to last year. I am immune compromised and get enormous welts from bug bites, especially on the face. I highly recommend this net. Just overlap the sheer curtains to keep bugs out. It is not magnetic. But is easily long enough to reach the floor. I have a queen bed and it encompasses all of it without issue. Don't sleep with your skin touching or leaning against the net or bugs will be able to bite you through it. Easy to take down.. Just a single hook and can pack the net in a bag.

Beautiful, holes are tiny, set up was easy,a lot of material is provided, quality material, awesome customer service
Purpose: Woke up one night to a BIG roach crawling on my face...ran around screaming, couldn't sleep for days, cleaned the house like a mad woman... I decided to add some more protection to my coconscious body in case the cleaning, hole covering and outside bug sprays fail.. Arrival: *It arrived very protected in a box surrounded by air bubble padding and within a plastic bag that was covering the travel bag which held the net and hanging set. This did arrive with a tiny hole at the top which stretched with use, and it was missing the hanging kit; however, an email to the seller about the issue lead to a quick and pain-free fix. Pros: *Looks beautiful, and it fits my full/queen size bed when using the included add-on rope. * The holes are tiny just as pictured by others and the material is strong. *Set up is relatively quick (it pops up in seconds) and easy (screw the hanger into the ceiling and hang it up.) * It works I woke up to a roach (since I ran away screaming and didn't kill it, it was probably the same one out for revenge)crawling all over the net, Was it horrifying? Yes, but it did not get in even over the two flaps that over lap each other. Since there is no zipper I was afraid it wouldn't work. * Seller answers email so quickly and has excellent customer service. Cons: * I still don't like the over lapping, I want a complete seal. (I use a cheap, light weight chip clips close the opening together just in case) * Sometimes the net comes untucked when moving around. (To fix this I lowered the netting to add extra material to tuck the material really far under the mattress.) Conclusion: * Would I buy this net again? Yes, in fact I bought two more for my kids beds, they said it helps them feel more secure. One of my children had skeeter syndrome( mosquito bite allergy), and living in the south they are so many mosquitos outside. So it helps me sleep better knowing this is helping protect them from the Zika virus and other diseases transmitted my mosquitos. I bought the rectangular one and a twin sized hoop one for my daughter. Between the two I like the rectangular one because it has more area to more around, since the hoop net goes down at an angle. The hoop option is better if your afraid of a fan that might catch the net. (screw the hoop in and thigh the rope on and drop it a foot or two under the fan so it won't catch it. *Best for: anyone but I would recommend the rectangular one for a child or adult who kicks a lot and might knock down the net.

From pool canopy to bedroom canopy! 💖
UPDATE: So my pool's bottom ring deflated and we returned it, deeming this canopy pointless for outside use for us. After removing the "hoop" of the canopy and washing it a couple of times, I pulled out my handy-dandy hot glue gun and made it beautiful so it could go in my daughter's room to be enjoyed for years to come. She's able to stand now, so we had to remove her mobile from her crib, which she loved, so I was able to attach it at the top of the inside of this canopy where there's a fabric loop, made to hold a light. Definitely awesome. I may move it from her bed into a little "book nook" corner or something later, but for now it's quite beautiful and we love it! Funny what a little hot glue, faux flowers and fairy-lights can do. 🤩💖 Original review: Being at home each day this summer has been wonderful... minus our horribly humid Texas heat (which is nothing new, but hubby and I can't comfortably take our little love anywhere else). As the mama of a baby under 1 years old I've not been taking my little love outside for very long if at all, which stinks because she and I are both obsessed with nature. We bought this 10x6ft inflatable pool at my hubby's request on the a few days ago so we could all three beat the summer heat and play together during these last few weeks of summer heat (but let's face it, itll be longer...here in South Texas we typically have our air-conditioning running up to christmas, lol!). We have a beautiful yard, but the spot that I've found just feels so magical to be in is beneath the full branches of 4 trees, not great for bugs, 1, but leaves and other debris. After days of trying to guesstimate if this canopy would fit, we just went for it. Its awesome! If you wet the edges it will stick to the pool and stay put. I'm sure if a crazy breeze comes through i'll have to reinforce the edges with velcro strips or something, but until then its perfect! We are actually building walls around the pool, (basically making a wooden box to hold the pool in place) so no animals pop it (hopefully they stick to their puppy pool on the side of our pool). I think the canopy/mosquito net will hold even better against the wood. It brings me joy seeing how BEAUTIFUL it looks so far, but knowing we can beat the heat, bug and leaf free is absolutely wonderful! Not to mention whenever it's not so hot anymore and we don't want to swim, we'll drain it, clean it and then make it an outside play yard or sorts for my little love and I to hangout in and soak up nature bug free! Sidenote: We don't have any strong branches directly above and center of our where we placed our new pool, so I added a line and was able to run both of them up other branches to get the placement I want. I plan to add a banner or something to the top just because I'm extra, but regardless it's absolutely awesome! I told my hubby if for some reason this canopy/net was too short or small I would just beautify it and put it in our baby's room! Win-win no matter what! Give it a shot! Good luck&enjoy staying bug free! 🦟

Serves its purpose but has drawbacks
So this is easy enough to install theres a bunch of different ways to go about that. If you can drill a hook that would be the best way so that the ring just stays up high and you wouldn’t have to worry about excess material or tying the string tight. Just find what works for you. I don’t have the option to drill but I have these ceiling support beams that I can easily tie the string to both. The string holds up okay but no matter how tight the string is when i keep reinstalling, the tent itself hangs low and droops which leaves much excess material that is super annoying to have to keep retucking. Why couldn’t there be a zipper for easy entry and exit? Basically this serves its purpose, to keep bugs out, as long as the material can just stay tucked. But what I hate is when both of us are inside and theres nobody there to tuck us in from the outside so my head gets in the way as im trying to tuck and keep the tent secure. lol. The excess silky fabric material keeps moving and untucking, leaving gaps as you can see in the second photo. I am considering sewing a zipper myself but i dont trust my skills and i dont wanna pay someone to do it for me. Just wish I had gotten one with a zipper. My boyfriend keeps kicking the tent open in his sleep which leaves us exposed. He doesn't like it much to begin with either he feels trapped. I have a king size and the drooping fabric makes it look and feel much smaller which is less fun to hang out in on weekends bc of the hassle in getting in n out and also makes the tv look pixelated. Overall if you dont spend much time in bed and want to keep bugs out during night then just make sure you keep the tent in tact.
